Technical Project Manager

• Responsible for the provision of technical project planning and management of all the projects and/or initiatives assigned from inception to execution. • Ensure that the projects are in line with company plans, priorities and expectations. • Maintain budgets, enforce deadlines, supervise team members, and manage all levels/forms of service delivery which includes design, analysis, training, testing, and setting-up of solutions. • Schedule, manage risk, resources and set standards, sequential status reports, and both internal and external communication linkages ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- +4 years of applicable experience in Project Management in the software development area.
- Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
- Experience in DevOps.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods.
- Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams.
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
- Excellent and effective communication and leadership skills.
- Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company.
- Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management.
- Experience in business process mapping or operational redesign / improvement.
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- Availability to travel 20%.
- English: Advanced 80% - 90%.
