This position provides asynchronous virtual instruction to students via the WJCC Learning Management System (Canvas). This is a stipend position, pay is based on the number of courses and students taught in various school-year terms (i.e., semester and yearlong pacing). The Virtual Learning Program is a supplemental program of WJCC schools and does not offer all courses in the WJCC Program of Studies. Anticipated needs: math, science (chemistry, biology), social studies Demonstrate current, accurate, and comprehensive knowledge of topics covered in the curriculum and the state Standards of Learning and prepares students to master grade level standards. Review provided curriculum and supplement or edit lessons, assignments, and assessments as necessary. Set course pacing and due date expectations. Establish and maintain rapport with students and families. Provide ongoing and timely feedback to students, families, and school staff regarding student achievement and progress, maintain up-to-date gradebook. Create and manage IEPs and provide case management services. Collaborate with families to schedule and tailor services to their child’s needs. • Perform independent validation of models used fraud and dispute resolution. • Assess conceptual soundness, data integrity, and performance of models against regulatory, client, and internal standards. • Conduct back-testing, benchmarking, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate model robustness. • Document validation findings and provide actionable recommendations for remediation, when required. • Maintain model inventory and ensure adherence to Model Risk Management (MRM) policies. • Support governance processes including model approval, periodic reviews, and retirement. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as OCC guidelines. • Establish and enforce data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs across the organization. • Collaborate with stakeholders to document data lineage and business rules. • Create and oversee policies ensuring consistency and compliance in data and modeling processes. • Validate input data sources for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for models, assumptions, and validation procedures. • Implement controls to monitor ongoing model performance and risk indicators. • Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams to ensure Quavo is compliant with prospective clients’ model governance standards. • Partner with quantitative teams, risk managers, and business units to resolve model issues. • Communicate validation results and governance updates to senior management.
