Role Description As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be a key member of our Network Operations Team, working alongside world-class engineers to operate and evolve GoDaddy’s global network infrastructure. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer. - Experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and related routing/switching protocols in carrier and hosting environments. - Knowledge of different OS: IOS, IOS-XR, and NX-OS; Cisco Catalyst & Nexus switches, Arista data center switches, and Juniper routers/firewalls. - Proficiency with network management/monitoring tools (e.g., SNMP, gNMI, RANCID, ElasticSearch, SelectorAI). - Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python preferred) and version control systems (e.g., GIT, API integrations, shell commands and directory structure, familiarity with IDEs like Visual Studio Code or similar). • Lead the implementation and optimization of cloud network solutions across complex client environments. • Serve as a technical mentor and escalation point for junior and mid-level engineers. • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures. • Drive technical discussions with clients, providing strategic guidance and implementation expertise. • Oversee the deployment and integration of hybrid network solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures. • Automate network provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Terraform. • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across all network implementations. • Contribute to the development of best practices, reusable templates, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Delivery, PMO, and Architecture to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

• Deploy and manage SASE/SSE technologies: SWG, CASB, FWaaS, SD WAN, ZTNA • Support migration to Zero Trust and identity centric access models • Automate security workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash • Develop and maintain API integrations for cloud native platforms, including Netskope • Troubleshoot complex issues involving routing, proxies, PAC files, SSL inspection, VLANs, NAT, DNS, 802.1X, SaaS/COTS apps • Perform protocol analysis using Wireshark and tcpdump • Monitor and maintain infrastructure using SNMP, SIEM, Grafana, syslog • Maintain cloud firewall policies across AWS, Azure, GCP • Support SD WAN and SASE integration for secure traffic steering

Azure Network Engineer The Azure Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure network and cloud infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments. This role brings deep technical expertise, industry knowledge, and best practices to deliver reliable and cost-effective infrastructure that supports business growth and hosted/SaaS platforms. This position works closely with internal teams, vendors, and industry partners to stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve infrastructure capabilities. The engineer serves as a subject matter expert for Azure networking, cloud hosting, and cybersecurity, ensuring solutions are aligned with organizational standards and security frameworks. The role owns, plans, executes, and documents multiple concurrent technical initiatives, including cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and network optimization efforts. Responsibilities include maintaining high availability of hosted environments, supporting incident response, and driving improvements in performance, scalability, and security. • Maintains a broad understanding of the function of multiple technology fields including applications, server infrastructure, database, and web and how they interoperate with the network infrastructure • Independently studies, researches, and provides deep knowledge of network specialty domains such as firewalls, VOIP, datacenter technologies, load balancers, cloud networking, wireless, packet analysis, networking tools (DNAC, PRTG, ISE, etc.), low voltage design, MPLS, network security, or route/switch and is a subject matter expert on one or more of these technologies • Independently evaluates existing network infrastructure systems to identify failed security compliance, licensing gaps, cost overruns, and/or technology failures and defines a remediation plan • Independently collaborates with vendors on new technology offerings to evaluate, test, and integrate those offerings into the network infrastructure • Independently trains peers on new technology solutions and facilitates the handover of those solutions from architecture to operations and acts as final escalation point for specialty technology that has been architected • Independently owns a major or multiple concurrent minor network infrastructure projects from concept to completion including requirements gathering, delegation of tasks to peers, implementation, reporting to senior leadership, turn up, testing, and hand off of the technology solution to the business • Independently troubleshoots, resolves, and seeks root cause analysis of issues, major incidents, and outages • Independently processes routine requests for network services, access, and documentation • Configures, maintains, and operates routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, load balancers, VOIP equipment, and monitoring tools Key Responsibilities - Design, Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, networking, Network Security Groups, and hosted environments - Design, manage site to site IPSec Tunnels, Virtual network gateways.
