Role Summary/Purpose: As a member of the Performance Marketing Center of Excellence, within the Synchrony Growth organization, the VP, Marketing Consent and Preference Platforms serves as a consent & marketing preference platform expert within the Database Marketing organization. As part of the Database Marketing team, this role will support Preference Center leadership in effectively developing and managing the platform/program and associated activities including consent banner roll-out, customer experience and preference engagement and associated activities; inclusive of overseeing India-based team members and engaging with cross-functional leaders and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the Marketing Consent & Preference Product Owners, offering analytical and strategic thinking, overseeing business needs and requirements, and translating insight and information into platform architecture, cross-functional requirements and communications - Support and implement platform KPI's and conduct analysis of performance trends, provide insightful business performance reporting and make recommendations - Serve as Consent & Preference SME, deeply understanding data and platform architecture, data flows and processes - Be the 1st line contact for platform issues and support - Work cross-functionally with internal and external partners in support of marketing integrations - Lead integrating Agentic and/or Generative AI technologies, ideally within Marketing Technologies and/or Consent & Preference platforms. - Serve as leader and mentor to local team members - Perform other duties and/or special projects as required Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or information technology with 8+ years of marketing technology experience or in lieu of degree 10+ years of experience required. - Work experience, includes:- - 5+ years' experience in platform, product analytics or site/web analytics in B2C/ B2B2C frameworks - 5+ years' experience as Business Analyst ('BA'), Business Systems Analyst (‘BSA’) or similar roles, building, communicating and validating business requirements - 3+ years hands-on experience within Preference Management platforms and tools, managing consent management, privacy and marketing preference data highly desired - 3+ years’ in a leadership role, demonstrating executive-level communication, engagement and exemplary team leadership - Strong understanding of the U.S. Privacy, Preference and Consent landscape, including legal and regulatory policies, tools and platforms, and customer choice strategies. - Experience in software development, or solution engineering , including hands on experience with HTTP, SSO, SSL certificates, networking, API, SQL and micro-service integrations - Familiarity working with encryption and tokenization services to share data with Software as a Service (SaaS) vendors. - Experience integrating Agentic and/or Generative AI technologies, ideally within Marketing Technologies and/or Consent & Preference platforms. Desired Characteristics: - Exceptional facilitation and communication skills. Ability to lead large meetings across various levels of leadership, manage conflicts, and ensure clear, effective communication between technical and business stakeholders. - Experience in software development, or solution engineering - Experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data management roles with strong understanding of data lifecycle management and data governance principles. - Demonstrated understanding and command of customer-facing platforms, user interface, applications or technologies, specifically within a privacy and/or marketing preference and consent platform. - Broad experience working with internal cross-functional partners (i.e., IT, Enterprise Operations) to ensure alignment of priorities and requirements -  Experience developing road maps and prioritizing work in alignment with product vision and organizational strategy. - Ability to perform ad-hoc analysis, information gathering and delivered informed insights aggressive timelines - Proven experience synthesizing insights from structured analyses to inform business decisions and communicating with stakeholders in an effective manner - Strong skill in project management, communications, multi-tasking. Ability to work independently and relationship management are keys to success - Experience working directly with technology suppliers to oversee improvements, troubleshoot and provide governance - Highly motivated, assertive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as a strong team participant - Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe POPM) 4.6 and higher - Experienced with consumer financial services, ideally with exposure to credit card marketing or retail marketing. Familiar with consumer protection, privacy and related laws and policies. Eligibility Criteria: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or information technology with 8+ years of marketing technology experience or in lieu of degree 10+ years of experience required. Work Timings: 2PM to 11 PM IST This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Role Responsibility This position reports to the Global Head of Corporate Security in New York City. It manages daily security operations across Asia-Pacific (APAC), excluding India. The focus is on Technical Security, Project Management, and Physical Security Operations. Management of Physical Security Operations: - Ensure all APAC sites comply strictly with BlackRock’s global security standards through regular site assessments and collaboration with local collaborators to determine and implement corrective actions. - Develop and maintain comprehensive physical security Site Profiles, including mapping security build and installation, responsible persons, emergency contacts, and key locations. - Coordinate communication with Site Facilities Managers and Security Reps to increase understanding of security policies, processes, and initiatives. - Assist in developing and detailing SOPs for regional security, supporting the global Security Command Centers responsible for 24/7 monitoring and managing blocking issues. - Address and handle employee and BLK emergencies, offering assistance to reduce risks, with availability during evenings and weekends. - Provide vendor administration, HR/Legal investigations, and incident management support as directed. - Maintain strong ties with local vendors, government, and law enforcement officials, representing BlackRock at internal and external forums. - Support the Travel Safety Program, including risk assessments, vendor field security support, and training for employees traveling to higher-risk locations. - Work jointly with Global Events Management and the Global Head of Executive Protection on event security planning and oversight, involving occasional travel within APAC. - Support solid coordination between the security team and different areas, improving familiarity with security policies and managing incidents of policy non-compliance. - Develop regional/internal metrics, reporting, and dashboards, working closely with all Regional Security Managers. Technical Security and Capital Projects Management: - Coordinate operational delivery of the APAC Technical Security program, serving as a subject-matter expert and primary point of contact. - Play an integral role in APAC Capital Projects, supporting security build, installation, programming, and testing coordination. - Lead the development and deployment of infrastructure improvements and innovative technology systems. - Manage and develop embedded Technical and Project Officers, streamlining processes and improving KRIs and SLAs. - Collaborate with vendors on SLAs to improve operational delivery and team understanding of vendor contracts. - Contribute or lead regional tasks with a significant technical/physical or vendor management element as directed.
