As a Supply Chain Project Team Member, you will coordinate the supply chain check-list activities for new projects, and ensure the respect of project milestones Monitor the Supply Chain KPIs related to the project (CSR, stocks, transport costs), including the risk of obsolescence due to changes during the new project introduction phase. These will be the main responsabilities: - Manage supply chain activities to support new products and ensure the respect of Project milestones (define Supply Chain concepts & support quotations. Initiate, define and lead logistics FMEA. Coordinate the definition and qualification of Finished Goods & Work In Process packaging and qualification of supplier packaging. Support on Continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes) - Monitor and manage the physical movement of prototypes throughout the early prototyping stages, supported by the project team. - Ensure the application of standards in ongoing projects (apply the standards on supply chain activities related to new project. Contribute in application of safety standards) - Monitor the Supply Chain KPIs related to the project (minimize any obsolescence due to new product introduction. Validate close orders quantity and supply process. Role Description As a member of the HQ Finance & Admin Department and Supply Chain Team, the Senior Manager, Global Procurement & Supply Chain oversees global sourcing and procurement, supplier governance, international logistics, compliance with donor and regulatory requirements, and organization-wide capacity building across Orbis programs. This role contributes by ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, ophthalmic supplies, and operational goods globally. The Senior Manager, Global Procurement & Supply Chain also provides surge support to the Flying Eye Hospital (FEH) and Hospital Based Training events.
