Role Description The Women Leaders in Eye Health (WLEH) initiative is a global partnership dedicated to advancing gender equity and leadership in eye health. In 2026, WLEH will implement two interlinked programs: AMPLIF-EYE, a mentorship and leadership Training-of-Trainers (ToT) program, and the WLEH Fellowship and Innovations Fund, which provides targeted financial support to women in eye health pursuing advanced training and high-impact innovations. Together, these programs are designed to function as a pipeline: AMPLIF-EYE serves as an incubator for leadership, mentorship, and innovation-aligned ideas, while the Fellowship and Innovations Fund acts as an accelerator to support implementation, learning, and scale. The Leadership and Innovation Advisor plays a central role in ensuring coherence between the two. Qualifications - Advanced degree in public health, international development, education, gender studies, or a related field. - Proven experience delivering leadership or mentorship Training-of-Trainers programs, preferably in low- and middle-income country contexts. - Experience working across capacity-building programs and grant or fellowship mechanisms. - Strong understanding of gender-transformative programming and mentorship methodologies. - Experience facilitating virtual learning and adult education programs. - Demonstrated capacity for coaching, follow-up, and qualitative impact reflection. Requirements - Finalize and deliver a virtual AMPLIF-EYE mentorship and leadership curriculum using adult learning and gender-transformative methodologies. - Facilitate interactive virtual Training-of-Trainers sessions for a cohort of mid-career women in eye health. - Provide structured group-based and individual coaching to support participants in developing mentorship or leadership initiatives aligned with WLEH values. - Support participants to articulate (from the application stage) and further refine innovation-aligned mentorship or leadership project ideas with clear potential for scale or replication. - Support the implementation of a transparent and merit-based selection process to the open call for applications for the Fellowship and Innovations Fund, in coordination with the Gender team. - Provide technical input, as needed, to assess alignment, feasibility, and leadership impact of proposed fellowship or innovation ideas. - Support awardees to strengthen learning outcomes and institutional impact. - Act as the connective link between AMPLIF-EYE and the Fellowship and Innovations Fund by supporting an integrated design. - Work with the AMPLIF-EYE cohort to mature pre-identified project ideas during the program. - Support and encourage participants whose project ideas demonstrate strong alignment to apply to the Fellowship/Innovations Fund. - Ensure coherence across timelines and expected outcomes between participant selection, mentorship training, project implementation, and any subsequent funding support. Global Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer

Role Description The Global Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer will be part of the Global MEL team in New York and work towards strengthening methods and protocols around project design, management, monitoring and evaluation to ensure practices generate evidence of impact. The Global MEL Officer will take the lead in designing, implementing, and integrating Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems for countries without dedicated M&E staff, ensuring alignment with Orbis’s global standards and objectives. The role involves: - Providing strategic guidance in adapting MEL frameworks to local contexts. - Incorporating global projects and ensuring effective data collection, monitoring, and evaluation processes. - Addressing data quality challenges and ensuring alignment with global MEL priorities. - Mentoring country MEL managers and building MEL capacity across regions. - Contributing to global MEL initiatives to drive continuous improvement in systems, tools, and organizational impact. Qualifications - Master’s degree or equivalent in public health, statistics, economics, international affairs, social science, or international development. - Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating, developing and managing M&E systems for INGOs. - Preference for candidates experienced in public health, health systems, and eye health care. - Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and qualitative methods, M&E planning, M&E system improvement, evaluation methods and processes, data use and data visualization. - Knowledge of the international eye health care sector and experience working in Africa, Asia, or Latin America and the Caribbean is advantageous. - Working knowledge of basic Excel and statistical analysis software (Epi info, SPSS, STATA, etc.) is desirable. - Strong in the development of simple project databases (e.g., Excel, Access) and data management. - Proven experience in coordinating or leading project evaluations or surveys. Requirements - Proficiency in MEL methodologies and tools, including both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques. - Strong analytical skills, including quantitative data analysis and visualization skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. - Ability to communicate complex data in a simple and actionable way. - Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities. - Excellent oral communication and training skills to present information and respond to questions effectively. - Exceptional writing skills to effectively create clear and concise reports, strategies, and/or guidelines. - Flexible, proactive, and open-minded work style: the ability to work productively both independently and in a team-based environment, in-office and remotely. - Understanding and respecting cultural differences to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders; multilingual is a plus. - Ability to travel internationally 20% of the time for extended periods. Senior Major Gifts Officer

Role Description As the Major Gifts program advances into an exciting period of growth, we are searching for an additional high-energy, strategic, and entrepreneurial Sr. Major Gifts Officer (SMGO) to continue developing and strengthening sustainable donor pipelines and propel the global sight-saving mission forward. Reporting to the Director, Major & Planned Giving, the SMGO is responsible for the significant growth of a portfolio of major donors, primarily west of the Mississippi River, as well as creating, implementing, and managing cultivation and solicitation activities for the Major Donor program. The ideal candidate will be donor centric and able to build relationships with current major donors and those with capacity to make major gifts but need additional qualification and engagement. Working as a member of the Major Gifts team, the SMGO will manage a growing portfolio of 75-100 individuals, families, and family foundations with capacity to make gifts of $25,000+, with an emphasis on closing multi-year commitments of $100,000+. This is a growth role for an ambitious candidate motivated to simultaneously focus on increasing revenue from existing major donors, those currently in the Mid-Level program with verified financial capacity to become major donors, and to prospect for new major donors. The SMGO is expected to consistently engage prospects through referrals and participation at Orbis events. The SMGO will create and implement aggressive cultivation and solicitation strategies resulting in increased revenue and expansion of the major donor pipeline. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred in addition to certifications such as Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), or Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP). - Minimum 7 years of front-line experience in individual giving and/or planned giving development within a global nonprofit. - Proven track record of securing six and seven-figure major gifts and regularly exceeding annual fundraising metrics. - Demonstrated experience engaging, cultivating, and retaining major donors at different contribution levels. - Strong understanding of global health, international development, or humanitarian sectors preferred. - Flexibility and adaptability in fundraising through a changing philanthropic landscape. Requirements - Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward qualified prospects and donors, managing a portfolio of donors who can make major gifts ($25,000+). - Devises individual engagement strategies for each prospect in their pipeline with the goal of soliciting annual gifts and/or multi-year commitments at the $100,000 level+. - Discuss current use major gifts while also engaging in legacy gift conversations focused on documenting estate (will/trust) intentions within the existing portfolio/assigned region. - Meet established performance metrics including face-to-face meetings, outbound contacts, proposals submitted, and revenue closed. - Conduct 5 – 10 donor visits monthly, complete a minimum of 10 solicitations annually. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records including entry and tracking of interactions in the organization's donor management system, Raiser’s Edge NXT. - Manage a systematic outreach approach to cultivating mid-level donors towards growth in giving, resulting in upgrades and pipeline growth. - Collaborate with colleagues on other teams, including within development and with clinical services and global program teams to maximize donor engagement and philanthropic commitment. - Drive the implementation of customized stewardship engagement activities including opportunities to recognize giving, showcase donor impact through their giving, resulting in renewal/retention and donor growth. - Translate complex medical/ophthalmic updates into accessible language for donors and stakeholders. Sr. Manager, Global Procurement & Supply Chain

Role Description As a member of the HQ Finance & Admin Department and Supply Chain Team, the Senior Manager, Global Procurement & Supply Chain oversees global sourcing and procurement, supplier governance, international logistics, compliance with donor and regulatory requirements, and organization-wide capacity building across Orbis programs. This role contributes by ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, ophthalmic supplies, and operational goods globally. The Senior Manager, Global Procurement & Supply Chain also provides surge support to the Flying Eye Hospital (FEH) and Hospital Based Training events. Location: Remote or Office-Based in an Orbis Location Reporting & Working Relationships: Reports to the Director of Supply Chain and works closely with the Country Program and Global Teams. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. - Minimum 5–7+ years global procurement/supply chain experience. - Experience in medical or clinical procurement. - Knowledge of donor-funded procurement and international logistics. - Professional certification (CIPS, CSCP, CPSM) preferred. Requirements - Establish global SOPs and compliance frameworks for procurement and supply chain. - Lead global risk mitigation and business continuity planning. - Oversee supplier governance, ethical sourcing, and donor compliance. - Lead strategic sourcing and procurement of medical, ophthalmic, and operational supplies for country programs following Orbis’s global procurement and supply chain strategy. - Conduct supplier due diligence, RFPs, negotiation, and performance management. - Manage global procurement plans and ensure alignment with country programs. - Oversee international logistics, import/export, customs, and global distribution. - Strengthen inventory management, asset tracking, and warehouse coordination. - Build procurement and supply chain capacity across global teams. - Develop tools, training materials, and conduct audits and assessments. - Collaborate with Clinical, Program, FEH, Finance, Legal, and IT teams. - Serve as subject matter expert with suppliers, partners, and colleagues.
