What does this position do? Under general direction, the Event Planning and Management Specialist will support Texas Oncology Foundation's growing events portfolio. This role manages the planning and execution of 7–10 annual fundraising and patient education events. The position spans four core areas: event planning & execution (managing all logistics for multiple events per year), volunteer & committee management (recruiting and overseeing volunteers and event committees), budget & vendor oversight (managing event budgets and vendor relationships), and marketing & sponsorship (coordinating event communications and working with the Executive Director on sponsorship and fundraising efforts). Accurate recordkeeping and reporting are also expected throughout.Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to): - Plan and execute multiple annual fundraising and patient education events (7-10 events per year) - Recruit and manage volunteers and event committees - Oversee event budgets and vendor relationships - Coordinate event marketing and communications - Work with Executive Director on event sponsorship and fundraising efforts - Maintain accurate records and reporting Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:   - Bachelor’s degree Or Associate’s Degree + four (4) years of related work experience Or High School diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of related work experience - Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of event planning and management experience preferred - Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor/grant management database systems is a plus; willingness to learn required. - Ability to work independently Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document financial and accounting requirements. • Analyze and recommend solutions to improve financial processes and compliance. • Configure SAP SD module settings to align with business requirements. • Provide user support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to SAP SD functionality. • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules, such as SAP MM, SAP FICO, and SAP HR, to maintain data consistency. • Develop and execute test scripts to validate system functionality. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP SD configurations, processes, and procedures. • Train end-users on SAP SD functionality, financial reporting, and best practices.

• This role is a part of our Global Services team, which is responsible for implementing campus card solutions for commerce and security around the world. • This team is comprised of Project Managers and Implementation Consultants who are committed to providing our clients with high-quality project management and expert services. • This position reports to the Mobile Credential and Access Control Manager with supervision and assistance from Senior Implementation Consultants and Project Managers. • As Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for participating as a technical team member in the implementation of, but not limited to, Mobile Credential and Access Control solutions. • You will have significant responsibilities associated with initial installation, configuration, training and remote client support. • Independently managing and providing services on short-term technical project engagements. • Meeting established goals for utilization, customer satisfaction and project forecast for completion as set by management. • Delivering onsite and remote installation and go-live support for clients. • Deliver expert training and consultative services to provide optimal system functionality. • Assist the Project Management team with the coordination of hardware shipment. • Knowledge of the TSE system and able to configure Mobile Credential and Access Control elements within the TSE ecosystem. • Configure, troubleshoot, and train on Carrier/S2 Security software. • Work with supervisors and management to properly escalate issues through Development.
