• Responsible for primary bookkeeping (record of invoices, bank transactions, payments) • Collect, analyse financial and administrative data from different sources and put in the system to ensure that accounting information is complete, accurate and timely processed • Perform reconciliations of banks, accounts payable and receivable • Prepare periodic reports in time • Liaise with the client on simple accounting matters • Assist accountants on delivered tasks

• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset management, and managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Update client records, request information from clients to complete accounts, and send reminders as needed. • Prepare GST reports and returns for New Zealand clients, and BAS/IAS for Australian clients. • Prepare annual documents such as Financial Statements, Annual Reports, Resolutions, and Taxation Summaries for review. • Prepare Individual, Trust, Partnership, and Company tax returns. • Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Directors with various other accounting duties as needed.

• Own the end-to-end accounting process, from monthly closes to annual financial statements • Manage intra-group transactions and intercompany reconciliations • Lead the annual audit as the main point of contact for auditors • Keep cash flow and financial reporting tight • Help improve the financial systems and controls that underpin how Nortal operates • Provide ad hoc analyses when the business needs clear numbers fast
