Design Release Engineer, Junior – Infotainment, Radio Module
Alten México
• Interface with cross-functional teams to design and develop functional solutions that meet design requirements. • Provide support through the release of engineering documentation related to product design and development, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan and Report (DVPR), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and test reports. • Meet deadlines and drive programs to achieve expected results. • Execute designs for the manufacturing process and coordinate the assembly process with Manufacturing Engineering. • Work with team members to coordinate projects from design through start of production, including prototype/pre-production builds, testing, and the establishment of specifications through launch and post-launch support. • Create and develop Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models (CATIA / NX). • Generate CAD and 2D drawings for components, including GD&T (release of internal component drawings, assembly drawings, and customer drawings). • Perform product design activities in accordance with internal and external specifications. • Support design and verification activities, including the creation and editing of bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, calculations, and engineering change requests
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge in Product Lifetime through internal and external milestones.
- Experience in Mechanical Design and automotive indsutry (product design or engineering)
- Knowledge or experience of CAN/LIN bus and circuit analysis
- Understanding cluster, radio and display
- CAD systems experience or knowledge (NX/ Teamcenter & Catia),
- Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience
- Knowledge or experience with GD&T, Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of vehicle system architecture
- CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) knowledge
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- CATIA V5 knowledge is a plus
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
