We’re seeking a highly driven Freight Broker to take full ownership of a cradle-to-grave sales and operations role. This position is ideal for someone who excels in building strong client relationships, generating new business, and independently managing the full lifecycle of client engagements. You’ll be responsible for growing and maintaining your own book of business, while ensuring seamless execution and a high standard of service delivery. This is a fully remote opportunity offering strong earning potential and the autonomy to operate like an owner within your role. Job Responsibilities - Own and manage the full cradle-to-grave cycle, from business development to execution and follow-up - Build, grow, and maintain an active book of business - Identify and pursue new opportunities through strategic prospecting and consultative selling - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering long-term relationships - Oversee end-to-end execution, ensuring timelines, expectations, and service quality are met - Handle negotiations, coordination, tracking, and issue resolution independently - Continuously monitor performance to optimize revenue and profitability - Collaborate with internal support teams for administrative and operational processes when needed
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a cradle-to-grave role, managing both sales and execution
- An active and transferable book of business
- Experience managing revenue-generating client accounts
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
- Highly results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work independently in a remote, performance-based environment
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
- Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Internet Connection:
- Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
- Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
- Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
- Primary Device:
- Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
- Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
- A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
- Backup Device:
- Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
- Must be functional during power interruptions.
- A functioning webcam.
- A noise-canceling USB headset.
- A quiet, dedicated home office space.
