Work you’ll do - Own the end-to-end recruiting process, from intake and sourcing through offer and hire, ensuring a positive candidate and stakeholder experience. - Proactively build diverse and high quality talent pipelines for technical roles using targeted and innovative sourcing strategies. - Maintain a strong focus on time-to-fill, continuously identifying ways to streamline processes and accelerate hiring outcomes. - Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing clear guidance on role scope, market insights, and talent availability. - Confidently manage up by advising stakeholders on hiring locations, role levels, and organizational structures to ensure optimal recruiting outcomes. - Proactively identify and escalate risks or challenges to Talent Acquisition Leadership, offering practical solutions. Requirements - 4+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting, ideally supporting technical or digital roles (e.g., engineering, data, product, cyber, cloud). - Strong interest and proven capability in candidate sourcing, with hands on experience using advanced sourcing techniques and tools. - Experience leveraging modern recruiting methods, including LinkedIn and other online platforms, professional networks, referrals, and partnerships with agencies or headhunters. - Solid understanding of HR and Talent Acquisition fundamentals, including hiring processes, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. - Comfortable working flexible hours to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and recruiting teams across time zones Due to volume of applications, we regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified. About The Role: We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and elevate our global recruiting function. This role is an opportunity to architect the next phase of Talent Acquisition at YipitData — expanding the team's strong operational strengths into a strategic, metrics-driven, and tech-enabled hiring engine. You will lead a growing team (currently 5, with plans to expand), partner closely with senior leadership on workforce planning and executive hiring, and build a proactive internal sourcing capability. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone excited to operate at both strategic and operational levels — designing scalable systems while staying close to execution. We are looking for a leader who thrives in high-growth environments, brings operational rigor, understands how to leverage modern recruiting technology (including AI tools), and builds strong cross-functional partnerships across the business. This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. As Our Director of Talent Acquisition, You Will: Lead & Elevate the TA Function - Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing recruiting team - Design the future-state TA org structure, capacity model, and sourcing strategy - Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and critical hires - Personally oversee senior-level and executive searches Build a Proactive, Scalable Hiring Engine - Build and scale an internal sourcing function from scratch - Implement outbound talent pipelining and market mapping strategies - Establish clear hiring SLAs and cross-functional alignment mechanisms - Develop performance-based metrics and dashboards that drive accountability Drive Operational & Systems Excellence - Own and optimize our ATS strategy (Greenhouse experience strongly preferred) - Evaluate and implement recruiting technology, including AI-enabled tools - Improve forecasting, reporting, and quality-of-hire measurement - Ensure disciplined, scalable recruiting processes across technical, sales, and finance hiring You Are Likely To Succeed If: - You bring 10+ years of recruiting experience, including experience: - - Leading recruiting teams in startup and high-growth environments (3+ years of experience in a management capacity). - Hiring across technical (engineering, data analyst), sales/GTM, and finance services roles, as well as supporting VP/C-level searches. - Building and maintaining an internal sourcing function (hands-on agency experience is a plus). - Worked with Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms is highly preferred. - You are both strategic and hands-on — comfortable designing org structure and metrics frameworks while also diving into complex searches.
