We are seeking a Nature Lead Specialist to play a key role in shaping and embedding our Group nature strategy across our global portfolio. The Opportunity Reporting to the Vice President Environmental Performance, you will provide strategic and technical input into the development and implementation of the Group nature strategy and associated programmes. This role offers geographic flexibility and may be based in any region where Gold Fields operates, subject to business requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with global and asset-level stakeholders and should be comfortable engaging across multiple jurisdictions and time zones. You will collaborate across assets and corporate functions to strengthen environmental performance, manage nature-related risks and opportunities, and drive consistent global standards. Key Responsibilities - Contribute to the development and integration of Group and asset-level nature strategies - Lead the update and roll-out of Group nature guidelines aligned to strategy - Monitor and report quarterly and annual performance against Group nature requirements - Identify and coordinate mitigation of key nature risks and optimisation opportunities - Provide technical support to assets on biodiversity and nature-related matters - Drive data integrity, innovation and system improvements in nature reporting - Conduct quality control and technical review of executive and Board SH&SD Committee reporting - Represent Gold Fields in relevant industry forums including International Council on Mining and Metals and World Gold Council About You You are an experienced environmental leader with deep expertise in biodiversity and nature management within complex operational environments.
