Position Title: Construction Operations Manager (Contracts Manager) Work Set-up: Work from Home Schedule: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM PHT | UK Holidays Salary: PHP 120,000 – 150,000.00 Our client is a company specialising in expert structural repair and maintenance services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Committed to quality and client satisfaction, they work closely with property owners and developers to ensure structural integrity. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities: 1. Operational Leadership & Performance • Take full accountability for delivery performance across all live projects • Establish and enforce structured operational cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly) • Drive consistency, discipline, and accountability across delivery teams • Ensure operations are proactive and predictable (not reactive) 2. Programme & Planning Control • Develop and manage integrated master programmes across all projects • Ensure planning is robust across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons • Monitor programme performance and implement recovery strategies when needed • Provide real-time visibility of delivery status, risks, and constraints 3. Resource & Capacity Management • Manage and optimise labour, plant, specialist teams, and subcontractors • Balance competing project demands to maximise utilisation and efficiency • Align capability and capacity with forward pipeline requirements • Support workforce and supply chain planning 4. Commercial & Financial Alignment • Ensure operational delivery supports margin protection and financial performance • Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to: o Monitor cost performance o Identify risks and opportunities o Align delivery strategies with commercial goals • Drive operational decisions that improve productivity and profitability 5. Pre-Construction & Work Packaging • Lead transition from tender stage to delivery readiness • Oversee development of: o Method statements o Sequencing strategies o Logistics plans • Ensure work is packaged into clear, controlled, and deliverable scopes 6. Supply Chain & Subcontractor Management • Oversee planning, coordination, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers • Ensure subcontractor capability aligns with operational requirements • Monitor performance trends and drive improvements • Build a reliable and high-performing supply chain 7. Quality, Safety & Compliance Oversight • Ensure consistent application of quality and safety standards • Monitor project performance and intervene when required • Promote a culture of disciplined execution and high standards • Ensure readiness for safety-critical and regulated environments 8. Systems, Reporting & Operational Rhythm • Implement management systems for real-time operational visibility • Establish structured reporting frameworks across all projects • Ensure data is accurate, timely, and actionable • Drive adoption of systems and processes across the organisation 9. Stakeholder & Internal Interface Management • Act as central coordination point between: o Operations o Commercial & finance o Planning & technical teams • Provide structured reporting to senior leadership and board • Support resolution of complex delivery challenges and escalations 10. Overall Accountability • Deliver projects on time and within budget • Ensure effective resource utilisation • Identify and mitigate programme and commercial risks early • Maintain a scalable and repeatable operating model • Improve predictability and reduce operational disruption • Align operations with business growth objectives Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. • With 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Experience & Expertise • Proven experience in construction operations management across multiple projects • Strong background in programme planning, resource management, and delivery control • Experience managing subcontractors and complex supply chains • Demonstrated ability to align operations with commercial and financial objectives Leadership & Management Skills • Strong operational leadership with high accountability for outcomes • Ability to enforce structure, discipline, and consistency across teams • Experience working with senior leadership (COO, CEO, board-level reporting) • Capable of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders Technical & Operational Competence • Deep understanding of construction project lifecycle (tender to delivery) • Knowledge of planning systems, reporting tools, and operational frameworks • Familiarity with safety-critical and regulated environments • Ability to implement scalable systems and processes Analytical & Strategic Thinking • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Ability to identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies • Data-driven approach to performance monitoring and reporting Work Environment & Role Expectations • Responsible for multiple concurrent projects (portfolio-level oversight) • High level of authority and accountability • Requires a structured, disciplined, execution-focused approach • Central role in driving operational maturity and scalable growth Your love for Boomering will jump-start with these meaningful engagement activities and perks.
