Candidate may reside anywhere in the US Position Summary The Senior Manager, Business Analytics is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making in support of the Care Model. This individual will lead opportunity analysis initiatives with a focus on cost, quality, and experience, as well as oversee the development and management of dashboards for key performance indicator (KPI) reporting and monitoring. The ideal candidate will combine deep analytical expertise with strong business acumen to identify actionable insights that improve operational performance and patient/member outcomes. - Care Model Opportunity Analysis: Lead comprehensive analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in cost efficiency, quality of care, and stakeholder experience within the Care Model. - Strategic Decision Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, clinical, and finance—to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations and action plans. - KPI Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics, supporting ongoing performance management and continuous improvement efforts. - Reporting & Monitoring: Establish robust reporting frameworks and monitoring processes to track progress against organizational goals and regulatory requirements. - Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all analytics and reporting solutions. - Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. - Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, and innovation. - Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and analytical methodologies to enhance the organization’s analytic capabilities. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of progressive experience in business analytics - Strong expertise in healthcare analytics, care model evaluation, or related fields. - Proven experience designing and deploying dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and present actionable insights to senior leadership. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python). - Knowledge of healthcare cost, quality, and experience metrics is highly desirable. - Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving - Strategic Vision & Business Acumen - Collaboration & Influence - Project Management - Adaptability & Continuous Learning - Leadership & Team Development Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Health Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
