What you'll get to do... - Identify security threats and vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners. - Collaborate with SRE and development teams to discover and implement creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale. - Develop repeatable and reusable security processes and frameworks. - Advocate for secure by build and secure by default development strategies. - Review quality issues and strive to detect both obvious and subtle security flaws. - Assist with prioritising prospective projects and participate in projects from kickoff through “definition of done” via end-to-end ownership. - Apply your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retesting of complex security events, policy questions, and technical security risks. Qualifications - 1+ years of progressive security engineering experience with expertise in multiple security domains, including but not limited to Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network Security, Cloud Security, Mobile Security, and Web Security. - Demonstrated problem-solving abilities combined with a strong technical grasp of security engineering. - Experience in threat modelling complex software services, secure code review, and penetration testing. - Solid knowledge of security controls across all layers of the OSI model related to common technologies. - Experience applying security engineering guidelines that align with security and privacy compliance requirements. Requirements - Master's / Bachelor's degree or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field. - Experience in Secure Development Lifecycle and Shift Left with a Security by Build methodology. - Proficiency in system architecture and building, scripting/development skills (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell). - Hosting Industry and/or Cloud Experience. - Hardware security experience. • Take ownership over the design and development of our SaaS platform that delivers Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Fraud Detection to customers. • Responsible for front end and back end design and development, as well as for scoping, designing, and implementing both front and back end systems that support online product sales, and our self-service support portal. • Implement responsive REACT -based web applications using javascript frameworks ie. Vite, NextJS • Design and Implement supporting back-end APIs using GraphQL and REST (NodeJS, Firestore) • Securely Integrate with identity frameworks (Firebase Auth) to develop user authentication and permissions controls • Securely Integrate with payment processing APIs for finance, accounting, and tax requirements • Design and Coordinate back-end data requirements for new application features with other product engineering teams • Automate the build, testing, and deployment DevOps lifecycle for Front-End products • Integrate analytic and usage tracking tools to facilitate business sales, business development, marketing campaign performance, and lead generation metrics. • Implement alerting, crash handling and support features for customer support • Expand and maintain reusable brand consistent REACT Component Libraries • Use Version Control repositories (GIT) and tools to communicate effectively across the engineering team and company • Make decisive and informed implementation decisions with minimal guidance • Facilitate Product Design and Decision Making processes with the team.

• Design, implement, and manage security systems to protect digital assets • Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity and implement countermeasures • Collaborate with IT and business teams to evaluate and improve security measures • Develop incident response protocols and lead investigations for potential breaches • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, integrating best practices into security frameworks

• Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions around the VersaONE platform as well as serve as a subject matter expert in building customer presentations and other collateral • Join sales calls with C-level customers to help close our largest and most strategic deals • Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership and evangelize our vision, point of view, and value proposition. • Deliver technical demonstrations to customers that showcase the VersaONE platform • Help to define and architect solutions that will help our customers strengthen and simplify their security posture • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape • Responsible for discussing and highlighting product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation • Collaborate with sales teams to assist and respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs • Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative • Guide the development of training and enablement for our SE teams and partners • Identify and shape the top cybersecurity use cases, and provide expert content to campaign and field marketing teams to drive demand for repeatable sales plays • Craft articles to be published as blogs containing thought leadership and industry expertise as well as technical pieces for the VersaONE platform • Utilize public speaking skills to participate in podcasts, webinars, fireside chats, and panel interviews.
