The Network Observability Senior Advisor helps design and support tools that monitor network performance and identify problems. This role works with leaders and technical teams to make sure networks run smoothly and issues are found quickly. The Senior Advisor is a trusted expert who leads complex projects, supports other engineers, and helps fix the most difficult problems. This role works across many systems and technologies and is known as a key problem‑solver for network and infrastructure issues. Responsibilities - Design and build tools that monitor network performance and detect problems. - Lead work on complex network and infrastructure projects. - Fix difficult and high‑priority network and system issues. - Create and maintain technical standards to ensure systems are reliable and easy to manage. - Guide and mentor other engineers and provide technical support when needed. - Work with teams across the company, such as Data Networks, Voice Networks, Contact Center, and Information Protection. - Help plan projects, manage risks, and support capacity and budget planning. - Share updates, recommendations, and technical information with leaders and partners. - Work with vendors when needed to support tools and solutions. - Manage multiple projects at the same time and work independently. - Travel occasionally (about 5–10 days per year). Qualifications - At least 3 years of experience working with network monitoring tools such as Netcool, SevOne, or Prognosis. - At least 3 years of experience supporting systems on Linux and Windows. - Hands‑on experience managing Linux systems. - Strong knowledge of SNMP, MIBs, and OIDs to collect network data. - Experience writing scripts or code using Python, Perl, or PowerShell. - Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle. - Basic understanding of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN). - Basic knowledge of network tools and services such as DNS, DHCP, SYSLOG, RADIUS, IPSec, NAT, and ACLs. - Experience supporting customers or operations teams. - Strong problem‑solving, writing, and communication skills. - Experience working on Agile teams, including Scrum or Kanban. Education - A college degree or diploma in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering or equivalent work experience. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 123,500 - 205,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. • Customer support via telephone, multichannel channels and other support platforms. • Configuration of network equipment. • Configuration of DNS servers, speed test tools, Looking Glass, RADIUS, etc. • Analysis and resolution of logical/networking issues. • Preventive and proactive technical analysis focused on overall improvements to IPV7 customers' networks. • Documentation of changes and activities carried out. • Customer activations in IPV7's NIIS database. • Delivery of technical training to other company teams. • Preparation, execution and monitoring of technical projects. • Support for the Technical Team when needed.

• Design and architect robust network infrastructures to support business objectives and growth • Implement Zero Trust Architecture to enhance network security and protect sensitive data • Configure and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reduce costs • Integrate load balancers to ensure high availability and efficient traffic distribution across network resources • Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with IT and business strategies • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and support staff • Stay current with emerging network technologies, trends, and best practices • Participate in the procurement and evaluation of network hardware and software • Ensure compliance with network security policies, standards, and regulations • Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team skills and capabilities

• Assist in processing MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) requests to ensure accurate and timely updates to network configurations. • Perform general troubleshooting under supervision to identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. • Monitor network performance using various tools and techniques to detect and address anomalies. • Assist in implementing strategies to minimize network latency, ensuring optimal data transmission speeds. • Configure and maintain network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls, under supervision. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives. • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, with guidance. • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff as directed. • Stay current with emerging network technologies, trends, and best practices. • Participate in the procurement and evaluation of network hardware and software as part of a team. • Ensure compliance with network security policies, standards, and regulations under supervision. • Conduct regular network audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of network operations and processes. • Perform routine maintenance and updates to network equipment and software as directed. • Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
