QA Engineer

• Take full ownership of the quality of our products - from the very beginning through to release • Get involved early in new features, analyze product requirements and user stories, and provide direct feedback • Continuously evolve our test strategy and ensure that processes and quality metrics grow in a meaningful way and align with our products • Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria and derive well-structured test cases and thoughtful test plans • Perform manual tests ranging from functional and regression testing to exploratory testing and user acceptance testing in close collaboration with stakeholders • Actively contribute by testing new features early and helping identify issues • Develop and maintain automated tests - whether at the UI, API, or integration level • Contribute to continuous testing approaches and support the creation of stable and efficient pipelines • Identify the root cause of issues, analyze, document, and track defects thoroughly • Prepare and communicate test results in a way that makes them actionable for the team • Collaborate closely with developers, clarify requirements early on, support debugging efforts and actively contribute to resolving issues • Stay organized and prioritize effectively in line with company goals
Job Requirements
- Several years of experience in Software Testing / QA (approx. 5+ years), ideally in agile environments
- Strong expertise in test automation using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Frisby, Supertest)
- Familiarity in exploratory, regression and API testing (REST)
- Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, browser DevTools)
- Proficient in using Git, bug tracking and test reporting tools
- Experience with UAT, stakeholder communication and ideally performance or integration testing, as well as improving QA processes
- Solid understanding of test design, test strategies and quality assurance processes

• Execute test cases (manual and automated) and examine the results. • Create logs to record the testing phases and errors. • Report any concerns or errors to the development staff. • Keep an eye on quality assurance metrics and look for areas that could use improvement. • Address production issues and reproduce reported failures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development process.
