Senior Oracle Developer
Zurn Elkay Water Solutions
• Work with business and the IT departments, providing leadership to identify and implement IT solutions that enable and support the business • Involved at all stages of the development life cycle: initial analysis, implementation, integration, testing, debugging and support • Lead end-to-end analysis, design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications with a focus on supply chain, finance, and warehouse management systems • Convert functional business requirements into customized software applications used to support supply chain processes and collaborate with Oracle Developers and Analysts to troubleshoot technical defects and break fixes • Develop, Deploy and implement ERP applications including defining business requirements, detailed process and system design, system configuration, gap analysis, business integration testing, data conversion, end-user training, implementation rollout, and post implementation support utilizing Oracle R12 and upgraded versions of Oracle • Full software development lifecycle for all aspects of Oracle using technical tools, including, but not limited to, Oracle PL/SQL, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Adhoc reports, Dashboards, Oracle Forms, XML Publisher, APEX, and OIC • Coordinate with QA team during test cycle for bug fixes and enhancements • Create and maintain technical documents • Provide ongoing production support after go-live and participate in developing positive customer relationships which make it possible to influence positive change and contribute to collaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions • Provides operational consulting to customer departments in the use of systems to support effective business processes • Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with other Elkay associates to achieve goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 7+ years experience working with Oracle ERP applications and technology tools including PL/SQL, Forms, Oracle Reports, OIC and APEX
- OCI experience preferred
- Strong communication (verbal, written) skills
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization effectively
- Must have the ability to manage multiple medium to large projects of varying complexity concurrently, with proven experience in applying project management tools.
