Position Overview We are seeking a Director of Product to join our EZLynx Product team on a hybrid basis from Dallas or Salt Lake City. What You'll Do - Provide product leadership for EZLynx's PL (Personal Lines) Rating product. - Drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of products that serve both customer and internal needs. - Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering clarity, accountability, and customer focus. - Apply structured strategic thinking to complex problems and create executive-ready presentations that clearly communicate insights, decisions, and recommendations. - Guide the development of short- and long-term product roadmaps, including new target markets and feature definition. - Develop and monitor operational processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, risks, and obstacles for key initiatives. - Manage the product portfolio of initiatives, partnering with product managers to define and deliver meaningful business outcomes. - Ensure the product team channels the voice of the customer into market-facing product decisions, establishing feedback loops and communication plans. - Provide leadership and make high-level decisions to identify, prioritize, and address problems and opportunities across the portfolio. We're Excited to Learn More About You Your experience may include: - 10+ years' experience leading teams that deliver highly successful and innovative SaaS products. - Proven success in taking products and ideas from inception to maturity, driving revenue and earnings growth. - Strong experience in complex, workflow-heavy B2B SaaS, ideally within insurance or financial services. - Track record of understanding customer needs-both intuitively and through objective, data-driven insights. - Experience working with enterprise customers. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA preferred. - You must also be able to travel up to 15%. You may have other skills or credentials, including: - Exceptional strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to distill ambiguous or complex topics into clear narratives, supported by polished, executive-level presentation materials. - Property & Casualty insurance knowledge; familiarity with agency operations and workflows. Understanding of ACORD standards, including policy/forms, AL3, and ACORD XML. - Ability to identify patterns through statistical analysis. - Experience with product analytics tooling (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude) and cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) for instrumentation and insight. - Proficient in project management methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, and Gantt charts; expert in Microsoft Office Suite We know that talent comes from all backgrounds and experience levels. Responsibilities Customer & Buyer Perception Study - Design and execute a short quant survey (in partnership with Research/CSM/CLM) to DC and Cloud customers. - Analyze awareness and perception of the Atlassian Cloud Platform, focusing on Openness, Data, AI, and Trust. - Identify blockers to platform adoption and perceived alternatives (e.g., Microsoft, ServiceNow, homegrown). - Deliver a slide report and executive summary with key findings and proof points, including 2-3 media-ready headline stats. Competitive Positioning Deep Dive - Analyze Microsoft and ServiceNow messaging across websites, analyst reports, press coverage, and social channels. - Map competitive narratives by persona (Admins, ITDMs, Security/Legal, Data roles) across Openness, Data, AI, and Trust. - Produce a teardown deck with positioning maps and SWOT, plus a battlecard summary for sales enablement and campaign planning. Narrative & Measurement Inputs - Synthesize research into a recommended narrative hierarchy and a shortlist of messages to test in paid media (e.g., LinkedIn). - Propose a simple measurement framework for platform share of voice and platform mentions in executive-targeted channels.
