• Preparation of the operating theatre: You are responsible for the meticulous preparation of the operating theatre before each procedure, ensuring that all required instruments, equipment, and consumables are available. • Assistance during surgical procedures: During operations you assist the surgeon by handing the required instruments and materials. You actively contribute to the safety and efficiency of the procedure. • Sterilization and instrument reprocessing: You ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and reprocessed to maintain the highest hygiene standards. • Documentation and reporting: Accurate documentation of patient information and maintenance of the patient record are part of your duties. You report on the course of the procedure and help ensure the best possible aftercare for the patient.

• The Senior Director manages the day-to-day professional and facility medical claims on and off shore operations. • Reports to Vice President, Financial Risk Management, VBC, and assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring of operational plans, goals, and objectives. • Makes all daily operating decisions of the claims operations according to established plans, policies, and standard operating procedures. • Recommends future plans, programs, and changes to the Vice President. • Establishes policies for department heads to resolve operational issues effectively. • Optimizes professional and facility claims operations financial and human resources. • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all CVBC departments, clients, and partnerships.
