Sevaro

Revolutionizing neurology and specialty care with 45-second response times and seamless hospital team integration.

Full TimeRemoteTeam 51-200H1B Sponsor

Location: 100% remote with travel. NYC/ NJ base preferred. Reports To: Dr. Rajiv Narula, Founder and CEO About Sevaro Sevaro Health is a physician-led, AI-powered virtual neurology and telestroke company partnering with hospitals across the country, with a significant presence in rural and underserved communities. We exist to ensure that where you live does not determine whether you survive a stroke. Our Synapse AI platform powers real-time stroke routing, clinical documentation, and workflow optimization. We are not a call center. We are clinicians building technology for clinicians. Position Overview Sevaro is seeking a newly created, Chief of Staff position, directly supporting the CEO and Founder. This is not an administrative position. The Chief of Staff is the CEO's operational right hand: the person who turns strategy into execution, keeps cross-functional work moving, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks during a period of aggressive growth. You will sit at the intersection of clinical operations, commercial growth, and technology, with direct exposure to every strategic decision at the company. You will work alongside (not above) a dedicated Executive Assistant. The EA owns scheduling, travel, and day-to-day logistics. You own outcomes. A note on working style: the CEO is a founder and practicing vascular neurologist who built this company from the ground up while maintaining an active clinical practice. His calendar moves fast, his context-switching is constant, and his expectations are high. You will learn firsthand what it takes to build and scale a healthcare company as a physician-founder, from fundraising and product development to clinical delivery and policy advocacy. This role is built for someone who finds that kind of intensity energizing, not exhausting. What You Will Do Operational Execution and Accountability - Own the CEO's operating rhythm: leadership meetings, board prep, quarterly planning, and cross-functional reviews. - Track and drive follow-through on strategic commitments across sales, clinical operations, and product teams. - Build and maintain the company's internal scorecards, KPIs, and reporting cadences so leadership always knows where we stand. - Serve as the connective tissue between departments, catching misalignment early and resolving it before it becomes a bottleneck. Strategic Projects and Growth Initiatives - Lead high-priority, time-bound projects from scoping through delivery. Examples include new market entry analysis, strategic partnership development, and multi-stakeholder program design. - Prepare business cases, partnership frameworks, and strategic memos that move decisions forward. - Manage RFP responses and partnership due diligence when opportunities arise. - Coordinate across clinical, commercial, and product teams to execute on CEO-driven initiatives without creating organizational drag. Internal Communications and Team Alignment - Draft internal communications, all-hands agendas, and leadership updates on behalf of the CEO. - Prepare talking points, briefing documents, and follow-up materials for investor meetings, conferences, and key stakeholder conversations. - Act as a sounding board for the CEO on organizational design, hiring priorities, and team dynamics. - Help manage the company’s advisory board, including scheduling, preparation of materials, follow-ups, and maintaining strong relationships with advisors on behalf of the CEO. Organizational Scaling - Identify operational gaps and build lightweight processes that create clarity without bureaucracy. - Help design and implement infrastructure for a company transitioning from startup scrappiness to scaled execution. - Support recruiting efforts for senior hires by managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and developing offer strategies. Who You Are - 5+ years of experience in management consulting, healthcare operations, venture-backed startups, or a chief of staff/business operations role. - You are a fast learner and quick thinker. You pick up new domains rapidly, whether that is clinical workflow, payer contracting, or product architecture, and you contribute meaningfully within days, not months. - You thrive on complex problems and find energy in ambiguity. You can take limited data, incomplete information, and a tight deadline and still produce a clear recommendation with a structured path forward. - You have strong analytical ability that spans finance, clinical operations, and technology. You can build a financial model, read a P&L, interpret clinical outcome data, and evaluate a product roadmap in the same week. - You are effective across multiple stakeholders: hospital administrators, neurologists, sales teams, engineers, investors, and policy advocates. You adjust your communication style without losing clarity or conviction. - You are a clear, concise communicator who can write a board memo, run a leadership meeting, and give the CEO candid feedback in the same afternoon. - You get the job done. Period. You have a bias toward action, you do not wait for permission to solve problems, and you take personal pride in delivering excellent work. “Good enough” is not in your vocabulary. - Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with hospital systems, payer dynamics, or healthtech is a significant advantage. What Sets This Role Apart This is direct access to a founder and CEO who is simultaneously running clinical operations and building a technology company. You will not be siloed. You will see the full picture: revenue strategy, clinical quality, product development, policy advocacy, and fundraising. You will also have visibility into and access to the CEO’s personal network, which spans healthcare executives, investors, policy leaders, and professional athletes. Beyond the business, the CEO leads an international non-profit focused on stroke education and rural healthcare access, is the author of a children’s book series on stroke recognition, and spends his nights and early mornings seeing patients pro bono. This role will give you meaningful exposure to mission-driven work that extends well beyond the company’s commercial goals. The exposure and experience you gain here will be unlike anything available in a siloed corporate role. Compensation - Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. - Equity participation. - Benefits package including health, dental, and vision. - 401(k) with company match. - PTO and paid holidays. - Technology stipend and equipment provided. - Flexibility to work remotely with periodic travel to hospital partner sites and company events.
