Job Description

Technical Support Analyst

Bridgeway Benefit Technologies

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot software and networking systems, including servers, workstations, and applications. • Provide technical support to end-users, resolve software and networking issues, and ensure a high level of customer service. • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls. • Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data and assist in restoring operations as needed. • Apply system patches, updates, and upgrades to maintain security and compliance. • Document system configurations, procedures, and support activities. • Work closely with senior system administrators, Bridgeway staff, and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and participate in training to enhance system administration skills.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a technical support or system administrator role required.
  • Proficiency in server setup, configuration, scripting, and maintenance (Windows, Linux, and/or Unix environments).
  • Intermediate understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security practices.
  • Ability to perform system backups, restore operations, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Experience with cloud environments, Azure preferred.
  • Experience with system monitoring and management tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
