Corporate Strategy Associate
Pluralsight
This position is also available for employment in these areas:Hybrid - Texas (Westlake), Remote - USAJob Description:As our Corporate Strategy Associate, you aren’t just crunching numbers; you are a primary architect of our future. You will dive deep into the mechanics of our core business to find hidden levers for growth, scout adjacent markets ripe for disruption, and sharpen our edge in a hyper-competitive landscape. We don’t expect you to have all the answers on day one, but we do expect you to thrive in the "gray area"—turning ambiguity into a concrete roadmap for success. Who you’re committed to being: - An Expert Storyteller: You can take a chaotic, conflicting set of data points and weave them into a narrative so clear and compelling that executives can act on it instantly. - Principled yet Agile: You have the backbone to stand by your recommendations, but the humility to pivot the second the data tells a different story. - A Professional Skeptic: You are your own toughest critic. You challenge your own assumptions before anyone else can, ensuring your logic is bulletproof and your biases are sidelined. - A Connector: You’re a natural relationship-builder who speaks the languages of Product, Sales, and Finance, bridging the gap between high-level vision and cross-functional execution. What you’ll do: - Use heavy-hitting frameworks like SWOT and Porter’s Five Forces to pressure-test our product roadmap and sales enablement strategies. - Partner directly with the Strategy team to design and communicate the overarching "North Star" for the company. - Act as a strategic consultant for cross-functional teams, helping them value new opportunities and understand the "cost of doing nothing." - Create and deliver high-stakes presentations for Board of Directors meetings and executive updates. - Roll up your sleeves for due diligence and strategic-fit analysis on potential acquisitions. - Hunter for untapped revenue streams and underserved customer segments that others might miss. Experience you’ll bring: - A background in corporate strategy (or a similar high-impact role) with a deep understanding of standard business frameworks. - You’ve been in the room before; you know how to build decks and deliver insights that resonate with C-suite audiences. - You possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, using them to solve complex, multi-layered problems. - A solid grasp of the B2B SaaS landscape and the unique metrics that drive it. - Exceptional written and verbal skills that allow you to simplify the complex. Requirements: - 4+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree paired with 2+ years of high-level experience. - The ability to travel 4–6 times a year for high-energy, in-person strategy sessions and team summits. - This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility. Why you’ll love working here: - We work in a blended environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams. - We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskillling and delivering impact that matters. - We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive. - We are always learning, creating an environment where you can take on new challenges, expand your skills, and grow with purpose. - Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, professional development funds, and more. The intern will support priority global medical projects across the existing LAI portfolio and future pipeline assets, gaining exposure to how Global Medical Affairs shapes strategy across the asset lifecycle—from established products to emerging innovations. Qualifications - Current Pharm.D. candidate (P2–P4) in good academic standing or similar discipline. - Strong interest in medical affairs, HIV, infectious diseases, or long‑acting therapies. - Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work independently. - Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the 6-12 month assignment. - Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible. Requirements - Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date. - Completion of the GSK Digital Assessment is required to proceed in the application process. - Recommended to use a personal email when submitting your application as school emails tend to block external senders. Benefits - Flexible work environment with certain positions requiring onsite presence. - Relocation stipend for candidates hired for an on-site or hybrid role residing outside of 50 miles from their assigned work location. - Competitive hourly pay rate and benefits for GSK Interns and Co-ops. - Eligibility for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. - Pay Rate Range: $22/hr to $43/hr.

It sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology, translating data structures and identity frameworks into usable audiences that can be activated across channels. The focus is on audience readiness, segmentation integrity, and activation feasibility, ensuring that marketing strategies can be executed using accurate, complete, and properly structured data. This role does not define data strategy or governance frameworks. Instead, it operationalizes them, validating that identity resolution, profile attributes, and segmentation logic support real-world marketing use cases. This role operates in a complex B2B SaaS environment, where audience definition must account for account structures, buying groups, multiple identities, and non-linear customer journeys. What You Will Do Own Audience Readiness for Marketing Activation Ensure that customer and account data is structured, available, and usable for segmentation and channel activation. Translate data models and marketing requirements into executable audience definitions that support real-world use cases. Validate segmentation logic, attribute usage, and eligibility rules to ensure audiences behave as expected across systems. Align Data Structures with Activation Requirements Ensure audience definitions are compatible with downstream activation platforms (e.g., marketing automation, personalization, paid media). Confirm correct use of identity keys, profile attributes, and audience logic to support cross-channel execution and account-based engagement. Monitor Audience Health & Diagnose Data Issues Continuously assess profile and audience integrity, including fragmentation, duplication, and data inconsistencies. Identify and resolve issues impacting audience size, reach, suppression logic, and activation performance, translating data issues into clear marketing impact. Bridge Data, Martech & Marketing Execution Work closely with data, engineering, and marketing teams to operationalize data products (e.g., ICP models, scoring, schema updates) and support campaign and journey execution. Provide guidance, troubleshooting, and enablement to ensure audiences are activation-ready at launch. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate has worked in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments where: - Audience definition depends on account structures and buying groups - Identity resolution and profile stitching directly impact campaign performance - Segmentation must support multi-channel, multi-touch engagement - Data quality issues have a clear downstream impact on pipeline and revenue Qualifications - 6+ years in marketing operations, marketing data, or audience activation roles - Strong experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environments - Hands-on experience with customer data platforms and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform, Marketo, etc.) - Deep understanding of identity resolution, profile stitching, and segmentation logic - Experience supporting cross-channel activation (email, web, paid media, personalization) preferably with an understanding of Adobe Journey Optimizer, Target and Marketo. - Familiarity with account-based marketing and buying group dynamics - Ability to translate technical data issues into clear marketing impact - Strong cross-functional collaboration across marketing, data, and engineering teams About MODintelechy MODintelechy provides managed services to B2B organizations.
