Job Description
Brand & Interactive Writer
Focus Lab
Focus Lab is a strategic brand agency that’s looking for the next addition to our team. We're an international, all-remote team with thoughtful, creative professionals, passionate about partnering with good companies. Leveraging our craft and care for others, we exist to unlock the potential in the people around us, both internally and externally. We approach challenges with process-driven intentionality to inform the solutions we create. Craft is our calling card, camaraderie is our brand. We are looking for a Brand and Interactive Writer to join our writing team. Candidates must be able to work within 9AM-5PM Eastern Time Zone. For international contractors, we need at least a 6 hour overlap between the hours of 9AM-5PM Eastern Time Zone for collaboration. We’re flexible on exact start and end times, but consistent availability during our core collaboration hours is important. About the role: The ideal candidate is a flexible writer, strategic thinker, and avid collaborator driven to be a champion of all things written. In the Brand and Interactive Writer role, you will: - Create verbal identities for brands. - Write and edit voice and messaging. - Apply that verbal identity to the interactive medium. - Write and edit site copy. - Do the above for primarily B2B brands who are at various points in their branding journey, through projects that vary in scope, scale, and timeline. - Write and edit Focus Lab marketing items (blogs, bios, case studies, etc.) and copy review design and strategy deliverables. Because our clients’ needs and the types of projects we offer vary, we’re looking for someone who is a skilled, confident, and curious writer and editor. The ideal candidate is unafraid of asking hard questions and providing a strategic basis for making clear verbal recommendations in the interest of a brand. You must be an empathic listener, a critical thinker, and hungry to collaborate within a team of writers, strategists, and designers. You can expect to: - Drive weekly meetings and conduct workshops with clients. - Deliver and defend your own work. - Work closely with both strategists and designers on a daily basis. - Work within a fast-paced, regular weekly cadence. - Build rapport with clients to help generate and deliver tangible, impactful ideas. - Participate in the betterment and evolution of Focus Lab processes and client experiences. - Work during East Coast Time Zone. Consider these questions: Is writing a passion for you? Are you comfortable working from a style manual and voice and tone guidelines? Are you able to spot grammar, syntax, and spelling errors from a mile away? Do you bring research and strategy to every endeavor? Do you value listening? Are you comfortable with critique and opposing opinions? The right applicant for this role has: - Background or skills that align with this position. - A love for all things writing and words. - Initiative, seeing what needs to be done, and making a plan for it. - Extremely strong communication skills. - Equally strong copy editing skills. - Ability to learn from teammates. - Comfort working with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.). - Comfort using time-tracking tools. - An appreciation for small details (so getcha some bonus points by including "Applebee’s” somewhere in your application). - Alignment with our core values. - Soft skills in the way of your humility, hunger, and people smarts. - Ability to reframe challenges in communication as opportunities to connect. Interested? Cool. Here’s how to apply: To apply, write us something specific for this application, unaided by AI. It doesn’t need to be long; just let us know why you’d be a great fit at Focus Lab and what you see your future looking like with us. Please pick two projects you’ve worked on recently and tell us what we should know about them. What happens next? This job posting will close on Tuesday, April 7th at 5PM EST. Our plan is to get through all the applications as soon as possible after the job posting closes. Our goal is to start interviewing in April, with an ideal start date in May. What does the interview process look like? - A video interview to discuss your interest and answer any initial questions you may have - A video interview to talk about your experience and Focus Lab culture - A video interview to talk about your experience, your portfolio, and how we collaborate We’re excited to hear from you!
Benefits
- We will cover the full benefits package further into the interview process, but the key benefits provided by Focus Lab are:

- Health, dental, and vision insurance plans (medical and dental covered at 50% for you and your family dependents)
- Life, disability, accident, critical illness, and cancer insurance plans
- Retirement plan beginning at your one year anniversary

Partner, Brand Marketing
ElevenLabsOur mission is to make content universally accessible in any language & voice.
• Build and run structured co-marketing programs with the platforms, tools, and ecosystems where our users already live: DAWs, creative suites, publishing platforms, enterprise software, distribution networks. • Develop joint campaigns that generate both cultural reach and qualified demand: not one or the other. • Own the full lifecycle: identify the right partners, negotiate the terms, align on deliverables, execute the campaign, measure the outcome. • Create a partnership calendar that supports up to product launches, cultural moments, and strategic partnership priorities. • Turn one-off collaborations into repeatable, compounding programs that keep ElevenLabs top of mind across the ecosystems that matter most. • Ensure every partner program has a clear ROI hypothesis from day one, and that we track against it rigorously. • Develop and maintain partner-facing materials: one-pagers, pitch decks, capability overviews, and co-brand guidelines that make it easy for partners to say yes and execute well. • Manage partner communications and relationship cadences: QBRs, check-ins, campaign debriefs — so every key relationship stays warm, productive, and moving forward. • Work closely with BD and Sales to align partner marketing activity with the commercial pipeline, ensuring marketing effort follows partnership priority. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new co-marketing partners — building a point of view on which ecosystems and platforms are worth investing in and why. • Serve as the internal connective tissue between BD, Product, Brand, and Comms so that partner moments are activated across every relevant channel simultaneously. • Track and report on partner program performance — reach, engagement, conversion, revenue influence — and use those insights to continuously improve the program. • Lead end-to-end execution of partnerships with top-tier creators, including campaigns with the highest-profile creators in music, film, publishing, and culture. • Own the relationship: briefing, creative alignment, deliverable management, approvals, launch timing, and post-campaign review. • Build the systems and workflows that let us run more of these simultaneously without sacrificing quality or speed. • Maintain ElevenLabs' creative bar: every piece of content that goes out under our name or in partnership with our brand should feel unmistakably excellent. • Define campaign KPIs up front and report against both brand exposure (impressions, sentiment, share of voice) and business outcomes (signups, conversions, pipeline).
