This person will encompass a combination of administrative and clinical tasks that will impact our entire business and how we work with our patients by upholding our company core value, “Patient Obsessed”. What you’ll be responsible for: •Manage appointment scheduling for patients, ensuring an organized and efficient flow of patients through the facility. •Collect and update patient information, including demographics, medical history, medications, allergies, and insurance details. •Reviewing, working, and managing tasks received in the EHR. •Managing electronic health records (EHR) by accurately recording patient data, test results, and treatment plans. •Assisting with billing procedures, coding medical procedures accurately for insurance claims, and handling financial transactions. •Verifying patient insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations for medical procedures. •Supporting inbound calls for our patients •Communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals via phone and email. •Following up on imaging, lab, DME orders as well as referrals. •Gathering patient medical history and relevant information before appointments. •Checking patients in and preparing patients for their telehealth visit. , •Educating patients on medications, and post-treatment care, along with preventive health measures and healthy lifestyle practices. What It Is The Scribe assists providers with documentation of care for patients and additional clerical tasks. Scribes accompany a designated provider throughout their shift, utilizing the Electronic Medical Record to document the interaction between the provider and patient.
