Customer Service Representative

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by identifying solutions or escalating to the appropriate department when necessary. • Record customer interactions and maintain detailed logs of inquiries, complaints, and feedback using Microsoft tools like Excel and Word. • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers. • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, working with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Ensure that unresolved customer issues are followed up and resolved promptly. • Work closely with other team members to share information, improve processes, and enhance the customer service experience. • Maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information in accordance with company policies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience in customer service or a call center environment preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • A customer-first attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Familiarity with customer service software (e.g., CRM tools) is a plus.
  • Personal computer with up-to-date Microsoft Office software.
  • Comfortable with remote work technology (e.g., Teams, Zoom).

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As an Enterprise Services Team Lead, your work will directly enhance CBP’s ability to identify threats, modernize analytics capabilities, and accelerate mission‑driven technology adoption. Key responsibilities include: - Deliver analyst-facing services that provide explainability, network mapping, and real-time insights. - Build model feedback loops for training pipelines and stand up governance baselines for data and model lifecycle. - Leading multidisciplinary teams in developing innovative concepts, prototypes, and analytical capabilities that enable enhanced targeting, intelligence fusion, and decision support. - Driving exploration and adoption of emerging technologies—including cloud‑native services, data streaming, graph analytics, automation, and AI/ML. - Working with CBP leadership to shape technology roadmaps, assess feasibility, and recommend mission‑aligned innovation investment areas. - Overseeing rapid experimentation, A/B testing, user feedback cycles, and iterative refinement of new capabilities. - Ensuring prototypes integrate successfully with CBP enterprise environments, data sources, and security/compliance requirements. - Producing executive‑level briefings, concept papers, technical assessments, and deployment recommendations. - Coaching development teams on innovative engineering practices, human‑centered design, and measurable value delivery. - Supporting cloud transformation efforts by helping migrate or rearchitect legacy capabilities into modern, scalable solutions.
