Job Description

Site Safety Manager

Ameresco

• Prepare the Site-Specific Safety Plans and Activity Hazard Analysis for assigned Business Unit projects • Ensure compliance to all Safety Policies and adopted Standards • Conduct Safety Audits of assigned project sites • Conduct project safety inspections with follow-up inspections of any open items • Review Subcontractor safety qualifications and attend Pre-Construction Meetings • Development and Implementation of Corrective Action Plans • Conduct quarterly safety meetings for Project Staff

Job Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or similar Field
  • Minimum of 5+ years construction industry safety experience on similar projects
  • An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years
  • Certification in Construction Health and Safety Technician
  • Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification
  • NFPA 70 certification
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
