Sales Development Representative, SDR

Instant Impact

• Make high-volume outbound calls all day, using a power dialler to connect with prospects fast. • Personalise talk tracks by prospect persona and sector, while sticking to a structured calling cadence. • Qualify prospects on the call and book discovery meetings for senior members of the Growth team. • Handle objections confidently, keep control of the conversation and progress to a clear next step. • Drive webinar, roundtable, and event registrations through targeted outbound calling. • Call event attendees quickly post-event to convert interest into qualified pipeline conversations. • Keep HubSpot spotless: log every call, outcome, and next step and maintain accurate, segmented prospect lists. • Track and improve against key calling metrics (dials, connects, conversations, meetings booked) and share regular activity and pipeline updates with Sales and Marketing. • Feed back what you’re hearing on calls, including objections, competitor mentions and market signals to help improve messaging and targeting. • Collaborate closely with UK-based Sales and Marketing, represent Instant Impact warmly and credibly and show up to team training and reviews ready to improve.

Job Requirements

  • Confident outbound communication skills with experience cold calling on the phone.
  • Ability to follow a structured cadence with discipline, while still building relationships.
  • Strong objection handling and the ability to progress conversations to clear next steps.
  • Good qualification judgement to avoid over-selling or under-selling.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with reliable HubSpot hygiene (clear notes, clean data, timely follow-up).
  • Comfort working to targets and using metrics to improve performance.
  • Curiosity and willingness to share in-market feedback to improve messaging week by week.
  • Commercially minded, structured, and data‑driven with a growth mindset.
