• Develop comprehensive project plans by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. • Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and project schedules, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations. • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively, including team members, budget, and technology assets. • Monitor resource utilization and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals. • Leverage your technical background to understand project requirements, technical challenges, and development processes. • Collaborate with technical teams to make informed decisions and provide guidance on technical aspects of the project. • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. • Proactively manage risks to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables. • Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. • Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and progress. • Effectively manage project scope changes by evaluating their impact, obtaining necessary approvals, and adjusting project plans as needed. • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and other relevant materials. • Identify relevant RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs. • Prepare, submit, and manage tender documents in compliance with regulatory requirements. • Craft compelling and detailed proposals to secure government contracts. • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their best performance. • Plan the release of project deliverables and manage the release lifecycle. • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required, considering third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates. • Identify risks that can delay the release and manage them to ensure the scope, schedule, and quality of the release are not affected. • Track the progress and identify issues, continuously working to improve the release process. • Ensure releases are planned according to requirements and budget. • Schedule release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release. • Create implementation and deployment plans according to the release schedule. • Provide weekly updates on release activities.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 8-10 years in project management focusing on government tenders and projects.
  • Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
  • Project Management: Proficient in planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
  • Tendering and Proposal Writing: Expertise in tendering processes and proposal writing.
  • Contract Management: Skilled in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing vendor relationships and stakeholder communication.
  • Financial Management: Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Risk Management: Effective in identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in project management software and familiar with e-Governance initiatives.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, written and drafting skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in deliverables.
  • Customer Orientation: Focused on meeting and exceeding client expectations.
  • Should be able to understand RFP/tender requirements and submit a proposal under such requirements.
