As an Inside Property Adjuster (remote), you’ll review and estimate damages for first and third party property claims, evaluate losses, prepare detailed estimates, and negotiate fair settlements to drive timely and accurate claim resolutions. National General Insurance is looking for an Inside Property Adjuster (remote) who thrives in a fast‑paced, remote environment and enjoys guiding customers through the claims process from start to finish. In this role, you’ll leverage your property estimating expertise and customer‑focused mindset to make a meaningful impact for customers—every single day. Key Responsibilities • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle • Demonstrates broad understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department • Handles investigation regarding all aspects of Homeowners first party claims (coverage, damages and subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority • Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, Desk Review) • For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome • Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills Skills Business Acumen, Case Management, Claims Administration, Critical Thinking, Customer Service, Insurance Policies, Insurance Underwriting, Negotiation, Prioritization, Problem Solving, Property Adjusting, Property Claims, Telecommuting, Time Management, Training and Development, Xactimate Compensation Pay Transparency: Base compensation offered for this role is: Inside Property NG Analyst III: $50,000.00 - 83,400.00 Inside Property NG Consultant I: $53,500.00 - 95,000.00 Inside Property NG Consultant II: $56,000.00 - 104,000.00 Inside Property NG Senior Consultant I: $68,500.00 - 131,300.00 And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
