Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5-8 years experience managing payroll required
- 5 years of experience with HRIS systems required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Solution-oriented; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Role Description Granicus, the largest cloud solutions provider for government, is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to support and manage our international payroll operations. Our technology empowers government organizations to improve the lives of the communities they serve — and you can be part of that mission. - Manage payroll workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing for both domestic and international employees. - Deliver excellent customer service through proactive communication and effective issue escalation. - Reconcile payroll reports, validating payroll taxes, benefit deductions, and pension contributions. - Collaborate with the Benefits team to ensure correct benefit deductions and taxation. - Review payroll tax reconciliations and quarterly filings to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations. - Maintain audit trails and documentation for all payroll transactions. - Support HR management with compliance requests related to compensation, taxation, and reporting. - Prepare employer tax forms. - Respond to employee and leadership inquiries about payroll matters. - Create financial, personnel, and operational reports, including monthly executive summaries. - Own and optimize payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency. - Support broader payroll operations, including: - Acting as backup during payroll cycles - Assisting with payroll transitions in M&A activity - Handling employment and income verification requests Qualifications - 3–5 years of payroll administration experience across multiple countries. - CPP or FPC certification (preferred). - Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. - Outstanding communication skills across all levels. - Solid understanding of accounting basics and payroll best practices. - Strong knowledge of labor and compensation regulations. - Proficiency in MS Office (required). - Experience with UKG (UltiPro) is a plus. Payroll Tax Specialist

• Maintain accurate tax records, preparing local, state, and federal tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations for Workforce Go! clients. • Establish and manage tax filing accounts, acting as the main point of contact for both federal and state tax agencies. • Review, validate, and adjust payroll tax documents and reports for accuracy, applying approved procedures to resolve discrepancies. • Investigate complex payroll tax issues, providing guidance to colleagues and clients. • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, as well as end-of-year tasks including W-2/W-3 processing. • Oversee tax funding activities for clients, resolving reconciliation items to maintain timely and accurate payments. • Maintain and continuously improve payroll tax policies, procedures, and documentation.
