• Provides leadership and/or liaison for design efforts within business or architecture teams to convey best practices, business alignment and requirements for supporting infrastructure and application stability. • Oversight of Core Suite Applications including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and the underlying virtual desktop environment. • Works with application support groups and outside vendors to resolve problems or issues. • Competency in writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower downtime due to required human intervention. • Recognize when something isn't ideal, propose a solution and work through change control to implement.

• Contribute to best-in-class CPU cores for cloud, enterprise, 5G, and Edge computing • Performance optimization experience with benchmarks including Dhrystone, Coremark, LMBench, STREAM, SPECCPU2017, SPECjbb2015, and EEMBC • Analyze and optimize cloud workloads like Memcached, NGINX, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, HBase • Collaborate with global teams across hardware, software, and product management

• Critically review Design Specifications • Refine Performance Modeling infrastructure and near cycle accurate models • Define (and develop as necessary) applications, benchmarks, and micro-benchmarks on which to measure performance • Analyze and verify important performance characteristics at multiple levels of simulation, as well as with prototyping platforms and silicon • Track results over time and quickly identify unexpected regressions • Work with Core and Noncore Architects and the RTL Design team to pinpoint performance opportunities and develop approaches to address them • Help specify performance monitoring hardware support • Collaborate with our Software team on: Characterization and optimization of key software libraries and middle-ware (e.g. JVM) Compiler/toolchain optimization/tuning guidelines for our microarchitecture Application-level workload characterization/optimization

• Work with the Solution Architect to design the delivery solution for the clients. • Onboarding for the new client or new use case of existing clients. • Coordinate with internal teams like R&D, infrastructure, algorithm and other teams, to debug and fix issues for the clients. • Coordinate with the vendors for any issue/requirement and fix/finish. • Coding for the integration with the client system. • Create documents for the process of each project, including design doc, architecture, training doc etc.
