Job Description

Windows System Admin/Engineer

Rapinno Health Care

• Provides leadership and/or liaison for design efforts within business or architecture teams to convey best practices, business alignment and requirements for supporting infrastructure and application stability. • Oversight of Core Suite Applications including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and the underlying virtual desktop environment. • Works with application support groups and outside vendors to resolve problems or issues. • Competency in writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower downtime due to required human intervention. • Recognize when something isn't ideal, propose a solution and work through change control to implement.

Job Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field with 5 or more years of progressive relevant work experience.
  • Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.
  • Must be able to consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.
  • Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.
  • Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.
  • Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
  • Strong background with deploying, maintaining, and administering Windows Server.
  • Experience installing, designing/building, configuring, and troubleshooting websites (IIS preferred).
  • Experience writing SQL statements, Database troubleshooting and monitoring (Oracle SQL preferred).
  • Ability to manage tickets and resolve both complex user issues as well as application issues.
  • Ability to drive ticket resolution with different teams.
  • Proven scripting skills ( PowerShell preferred).
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
