Twelvenets
• Help develop, deliver, and maintain Twelvenets' communications plans to promote the company’s ongoing work and strategic positioning. • Coordinate and interface with other divisions of the company during public events. • Play a critical role in meeting strategic communications goals through digital content production, events, and outreach. • Create and implement creative multimedia assets to elevate existing communications outputs such as social media and digital reports. • Maintain Twelvenets' website as the day-to-day content administrator. • Lead the creation of and act as an in-house designer of social media content based on the overall strategy set by the communications team. • Provide writing and copyediting support for blogs. • Produce the monthly Twelvenets newsletter. • Track, report on, and analyze digital engagement metrics monthly. • Support the management of Twelvenet’s digital presence across social media. • Execute paid social media ad campaigns to maximize reach and engagement. • Support the delivery of externally produced publications and multimedia storytelling products. • Lead the production of in-house designed Twelvenets-authored publications. • Act as the guardian and advisor for Twelvenet’s brand visual identities. • Produce and coordinate content and collateral for event purposes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, communications, journalism, or international affairs.
- At least 4 years of related professional experience.
- Strong creative and design skills with the ability to translate an idea to several formats, channels, and platforms.
- Experience using Wordpress, Buffer, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Descript, Audiogram (or equivalents).
- Experience managing social media channels, and producing and managing content calendars.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communications skills, with a strong interest in visual design and what makes a good website for experts and the general public.
- Self-starter able to manage multiple media production projects, including managing budgets with external vendors.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for data for social good and data science and the ability to translate this into simple infographics, and social media.
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Team player, problem solver, and relationship-builder.
- Highly organized, delivers results in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness for occasional domestic and international travel.
- Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policy.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
