Senior IT Systems Engineer – Cloud

• Partner with IT Engineering, IT Architecture and Business to develop and support IT solutions • Define system requirements and design robust, scalable architectures • Assess and modernize legacy designs with a focus on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable Cloud Landing Zones in AWS and Azure • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Provide L3-level technical support for cloud environments • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across AWS, Azure, Windows and Linux platforms • Architect and support cloud networking, including VPC/VNet design, routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, VPNs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud solutions • Monitor systems for performance, cost efficiency, security, and compliance • Support cloud migrations and optimizations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering and cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated depth in both AWS and Azure environments
  • Infrastructure as Code proficiency using Terraform
  • Cloud networking expertise across VPC/VNet design, routing, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, and private connectivity services
  • Hybrid and enterprise WAN connectivity,
  • Windows systems administration at an L3 support level
  • Cloud security and governance expertise
  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Terraform, or ITIL preferred
  • Linux systems administration at an L3 support level,
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Compliance and FinOps practices
  • Working knowledge of Python and AWS Lambda for cloud-native automation
