• Lead and mentor a global voice operations team focused on reliability, performance, and scalability. • Manage daily operations, including incident response and on-call coordination. • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SBCs, policy servers, and other voice infrastructure components. • Analyze SIP signaling and call flows to identify issues and implement fixes. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Network, Cloud, Security, Engineering) to deliver end-to-end voice solutions. • Partner with vendors like Ribbon for advanced troubleshooting, upgrades, and platform enhancements. • Strengthen our voice systems with automation, monitoring, and proactive performance improvements. • Ensure all systems align with cloud and enterprise security best practices.

• Own the vision and multi-quarter roadmap for Ads Solutions engineering across Sponsored Products, Display Ads, Promotions/Discounts, and Caper Ads, balancing consumer trust, advertiser ROI, and revenue growth. • Lead, mentor, and scale an organization of 20+ engineers (including one manager); drive recruiting, career development, performance management, and an inclusive, high-ownership culture. • Raise the technical bar across backend services, mobile and web clients, and the ground-truth eventing/measurement stack; ensure reliability, low latency, privacy, and data quality for ads experiences. • Drive end-to-end execution in partnership with Ads Serving, ML, Measurement, Ads Manager, and Consumer teams; align on APIs, contracts, experimentation, and success metrics to ship at pace. • Establish operational excellence with clear OKRs, program planning, on-call quality, incident reviews, and continuous improvement to deliver predictably in a fast-moving environment. • Partner with Product and Ads Sales on customer development, launch readiness, adoption, and performance; iterate rapidly using experiment results and customer feedback to improve engagement, conversion, and revenue.

• Lead two Ads Manager teams (Ads Enrichment and Ads Activation) comprising 15 engineers to deliver high-quality advertiser experiences across campaign management, optimization, reporting, onboarding, and brand presence. • Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for a broad portfolio of web-based products, balancing long-term bets with near-term impact and iterative delivery. • Partner with Product, Design, and sister engineering teams (e.g., Ads Data Pipelines, Ads Quality, Ads Formats) to align priorities across multiple ads pillars and ship cohesive end-to-end solutions. • Drive engineering excellence across code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and reliability; establish and meet SLAs and operational KPIs for advertiser-facing systems. • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; set clear expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and build an inclusive, engaged team culture. • Collaborate with analytics and data engineering to ensure accurate, timely, and privacy-conscious reporting and measurement for advertisers. • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards while building scalable APIs and services that integrate with Instacart’s broader Ads ecosystem. • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership, making data-informed decisions that drive outcomes for advertisers and Instacart.

What we need Exol is seeking a hands-on leader to design, evolve, and operate our multi-tenant data platform. You will own the enterprise data model, ensuring a trusted foundation for analytics, operational visibility, and AI-driven use cases. What you’ll do - Platform Leadership: Direct the evolution of a multi-tenant data architecture that balances scalability, performance, and cost across multiple products and customers. - Data Model Ownership: Define and govern EXOL’s canonical enterprise data model. Ensure consistency, versioning, and backward compatibility across all services. - Engineering & Architecture: Lead the design of batch and streaming ingestion patterns, transformation layers (dbt), and lakehouse components. - Automation & CI/CD: Establish standards for pipeline orchestration, configuration management, and automated promotion across environments. - Governance & Security: Embed access controls, metadata management, and data retention policies directly into the platform design. - Analytics Enablement: Provide structured, trusted datasets to internal analytics teams and external customer-facing workloads. - Team Management: Lead and develop a global data engineering team (including India-based GCC), fostering a culture of design reviews and engineering excellence. What you'll need - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. - Minimum 8 years in data engineering; 3+ years leading teams. - Hands-on expertise in multi-tenant data models, modern lakehouse patterns, and SQL-based transformation frameworks. - Ability to debug complex pipeline failures and make cost/performance trade-offs in shared environments. - Proven track record of managing global delivery and communicating technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred - Tech Stack: Experience with GCP (BigQuery), Snowflake, dbt, and managed orchestration (Airflow/Composer). - Specialization: Familiarity with metadata-driven governance and AI/BI enablement. The base range for this position in the posted location is $118,000.00 - $162,800.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
