Principal Business Consultant
Temenos
• The Principal Business Consultant is responsible for coordinating and ensuring successful implementation of their functional area of expertise. • The Principal Business Consultant plays the role of interface between the project team and the client and ensures that all actions are taken to fully satisfy the client’s functional needs in their business/functional domain. • The Principal Business Consultant is also responsible for providing guidance and coaching to less experienced consultants. • You will be recognized as Temenos Payment Hub specialist on complex functional and business matters. • You will work independently and in collaborative nature. • Has completely master business skills in Payment business required to accomplish the job. • You will provide guidance, coaching and advice to less experienced consultants. • You will analyze and validate all bank’s business requirements and relate them to TEMENOS products capability. • You will review Client organization, processes and workflows and propose of a ‘post-picture’ to maximize the benefit from TEMENOS products. • You will validate all functional decisions for the projects to ensure optimum utilization of TEMENOS products. • You will make recommendations on best banking practices to the Project Manager and alert him on practices that might damage the Clients business or contradict legal requirements, before recognition as a problem by the Client. • You will provide consultancy and advice to Clients and TEMENOS consultants on matters related to the implementation of TEMENOS products. • You will define and validate customization needs for TEMENOS products as per agreed business definitions. • You will coordinate with the TEMENOS maintenance groups to ensure that the product problems identified are understood and resolved. • You will run workshops and benchmarks to meet specific project needs. • You will provide assistance to the Project Manager, for the planning and conduct all aspects of the implementation of TEMENOS products. • You will supervise, if and when needed, over specific functional parts of the implementation plan. • You will perform such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.
Job Requirements
- You should have a minimum of seven years of experience in Finance or in banking software consultancy.
- You should fully understand and be able to deploy the TEMENOS Implementation Methodology.
- You should have extensive Banking Products implementation experience.
- You should have sufficient knowledge on Transact to understand the Payment dependency on the modules in Transact, and the interface.
- You should have expert understanding on the bank’s business on payment and local clearing and related massages.
- You should have an in depth understanding of financial and banking processes e.g. Deposits, Loans, Collateral, Asset Management, Credits, Accounting,Treasury.
- Must have strong experience in payments.
- You should be IT oriented: knowledge of a banking software application; excellent knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel as well as other MS Office environment applications.

Position Overview The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors securing America’s net-zero future with state-led, high-impact climate action. The Alliance Secretariat helps its member states and territories accelerate climate action by providing a broad range of technical, analytical, policy, and capacity assistance and resources. The U.S. Climate Alliance seeks a Senior Policy Advisor to support governors’ offices in the advancement of policy solutions in the electricity sector. This position serves as primary advisor to Alliance members on relevant state and federal policy matters; manages day-to-day efforts of the Electricity Policy Working Group and relevant cohorts, including on nuclear and geothermal energy; leads activities of the State Modern Grid Deployment Initiative; provides guidance to states in the development and implementation of relevant state-level policies and programs; maintains relationships with sectoral national partners in the nonprofit and advocacy communities; tracks sector-based policy actions at the state and federal levels and regularly updates members; advises on and supports sector-based technical assistance projects; and collaborates with the Alliance’s federal affairs team to facilitate state engagement on key federal rules and actions. They may also be expected to advise on additional policy sectors as assigned.
