JOB SUMMARY The Communication and Partnership (C&P) Director is a senior member of the FP2030 Executive Team based at the UN Foundation (UNF). FP2030 is in the process of finalizing a new strategy and the C&P Director will lead in shaping and executing the communications strategy for the globally connected and country driven partnership and will oversee the quality of internal and external communications. He/she reports to FP2030&rsquo;s Executive Director and will work very closely with the Chief Operating Officer and key leaders and managers across the country and program portfolios. The Director will serve as a shared resource for internal and external partners, as well as within the Global Communications and Engagement team at UNF. The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional with a proven track record of building and executing successful, global and country communications strategies and campaigns to drive growth and increase community engagement to accelerate impact. The Alliance Secretariat helps its member states and territories accelerate climate action by providing a broad range of technical, analytical, policy, and capacity assistance and resources. The partnership brings together governments, civil society, multilaterals, donors, the private sector, and other stakeholders to expand access to voluntary, rights-based family planning information and services. By situating family planning at the intersection of global health, development, and gender equality agendas, FP2030 works to support the rights of women and girls to decide freely and for themselves whether, when, and how many children to have. FP2030 also serves as a platform for convening, coordination, information sharing, and collective action across the broader sexual and reproductive health and rights community. FP2030 is hosted by the UN Foundation based in Washington, DC. The Senior Associate reports to the Senior Director, Global Advocacy and provides support to both the Global Advocacy and Global Communications teams. The role focuses on strengthening coordination across advocacy and communications efforts and supporting FP2030&rsquo;s engagement with partners across the global family planning ecosystem. The Senior Associate contributes to the planning and delivery of global meetings, events, publications, and webinars, working closely with regional hubs and global partners to support coordinated engagement and consistent messaging across the FP2030 Support Network. The position also supports FP2030&rsquo;s engagement with Non-Governmental Actor commitment makers and helps manage partnerships across civil society, philanthropy, academia, and the private sector. The Senior Associate leads coordination with the faith community, including supporting the Faith and Family Planning Working Group, and contributes to FP2030&rsquo;s anti-rights response efforts through coordination with partners addressing opposition to sexual and reproductive health and rights. The role also provides administrative, budget, and logistical support for advocacy and communications activities, including coordination of meetings, events, reports, and day-to-day operational needs across both teams. This position is based in Washington, D.C. (Hybrid Schedule) Essential Functions Administrative Support to the Global Advocacy and Communications Teams - Manage scheduling, calendars, and meeting logistics for the Global Advocacy and Communications teams, including coordinating agendas, documentation, and follow up on action items - Support the development and tracking of team workplans and assist with monitoring portfolio budgets.
