Role: Snr Motion Designer/Video Editor Location: Remote (Colombia) Language: Proficiency in English is required as we are a global business About the role: We are looking for a hands-on, well rounded senior adaptations video editor with strong experience working on large volume adaptation of moving content using automation workflows as well as motion projects that require design input at speed. The candidate should be comfortable working within a global, multi time-zone team and be able to take on projects independently or as part of a team. This role is right for you if You are self-driven, outgoing, passionate about design and want to work on a global account where you can showcase your skills within a large group of creatives. The work is high paced, energetic and dynamic. You’ll work closely with producers and account managers, delivering high quality digital or print assets whilst getting to know the brand inside out. You’ll manage a small team of motion designers making sure their work is to the standard required by the account. What You'll be Doing: - You will be remastering and creating well-thought motion assets adaptations of global campaign assets for TV, digital and social media using our own proprietary automation tools where suitable - You’ll be well rounded on creating animated assets for contents like Paid Media, Onsite Banners, Digital Retail screens, DOOH, Newsletters, social media, App formats and other eComm materials. - Adaptation can require changing copy, labels, logos, video length adjusting as well as sound adjusting. All following guidelines and toolkits and making sure they respond to the market needs. - Additionally, you’ll be adding SRTs, localising subs, adding information and editing global assets to make them work for the specific regions and/or channels – always following campaign guidelines. Qualification Required - You will have a wealth of knowledge around motion specs and its requirements according to different media channels and platforms. - You will have experience working with automation workflows as well as a strong understanding of how they are designed and how they can be improved. - You’ll have extensive knowledge of campaign rollouts and multi-asset projects and will be capable of leading projects from start to finish. - You’ll have experience working directly with project managers and account managers to find the best solutions within brand and brief requirements. - You’ll have experience acting as a brand guardian, producing high quality work with great standards within tight timelines. - As we foster a close working relationship with the clients you must be comfortable at occasionally presenting and taking in client feedback. Building trust is key to producing better work and it’s an essential drive to our growth and success. - You’ll support your Design lead in developing good working practices and remain in-touch for weekly 1:1 catch-ups and team discussions. - You should be positive, pro-active and happy to lend a hand when needed, and be willing to take on internal projects that benefit the account to help the team improve. - You’ll have good knowledge of global campaigns rollouts following toolkit and brand guidelines - You are familiar with multiple format specs and outputs - You should understand what makes great content e.g. best practices for making TV and social assets - 6+ years’ experience (at least two years proven experience working for a studio, agency or independently for clients - Degree educated with a strong qualification in film and video or related multimedia field - A well-rounded skillset in the use of Adobe Adobe After Effects, and using industry standard plug-ins. Flame, Premiere, Cinema 4D and other 3D modelling tools knowledge is a plus - Knowledge of design basic principles of composition, typography and colour - Have basic audio editing capabilities.
