Senior Software Engineer II – Connected Equipment
Samsara
• Architect and build high impact “0 to 1” software products for our customers. • Tackle complex, high-impact problems across the stack working across system boundaries from firmware to front-end to deliver end-to-end customer value. • Partner with product leadership to define and prioritize features that deliver tangible impact, rooted in customer problems. • Experiment and iterate rapidly, guided by feedback from GTM teams and customer engagements. • Learn about the world of physical operations and get your hands dirty. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building software with a proven track record shipping products (both 0-1 and at scale).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Entrepreneurial/ownership mindset.
- Demonstrated nuance and judgement building for speed and scale.
