What We Offer: - Competitive salary - Paid vacation/holidays/sick time - Comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision care starting day one! - Developmental opportunities - Encouraging and collaborative team environment - Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy - While Milwaukee is a preferred location, this role can be remote in the United States What You Will Do: - Support supplier contract negotiation, supplier selection, and contract lifecycle management. - Understand the needs of the business and align necessary actions with the Category Management team. - Manage around $100M across all JCI field branches in the US and Canada. - Create and implement strategies to exceed profit plan goals related to cost savings, trade working capital, quality, supplier rationalization, supply continuity, risk management, and other agreed objectives. - Collaborate with branch locations to identify and introduce innovative products and services to expand field offerings. - Ensure compliance with all internal procurement and business operating procedures. - Cultivate and promote diverse supplier relationships, working with regional teams to deliver diverse sourcing opportunities. - Responsible for overall continuity of supply and active risk mitigation including follow-up and expedite of specific orders and parts. - Optimize supply base composition. What We Look For: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. - 6+ years of Procurement experience. - Category Management experience with proven results. - Ability to influence without direct authority. - Capability to interface with senior leadership. - Self-starter with the drive to make an impact, work at pace, and make data-led decisions. - Developed understanding of Procurement tools and best practices. - Willingness to travel up to 10%. Preferred: - Procurement experience within Security and Fire products. - Experience in cost analysis and strong financial knowledge, as you will need to understand how Procurement contributes to the wider financial picture. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $89,000-$134,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
