We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive sales of our Laboratory build and management solutions across the US. This role is focused on developing business within gastroenterology (GI), urology, dermatology, and rheumatology practices. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic, relationship-driven sales professional with a strong existing book of business and deep understanding of specialty diagnostic testing and physician practice operations. The Role You'll Play: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within GI, Urology, Dermatology, and Rheumatology practices to achieve and exceed sales targets - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Lighthouse’s national footprint - Leverage an existing network of physician practices, administrators, and decision-makers to generate and close opportunities - Conduct in-person meetings, including practice visits and on-site consultations - Build and maintain a robust pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, and industry networking - Establish long-term client relationships through consistent communication and value-driven engagement - Educate clients on Lighthouse’s laboratory management solutions, including operational, clinical, and financial benefits - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure solutions align with client needs and expectations - Participate in client presentations, technical discussions, and implementation planning with internal experts Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field - Minimum of 6+ years of successful B2B sales experience within specialty physician practices - Proven track record of generating new business and managing a full sales cycle - Established book of business and relationships within GI, Urology, Dermatology, or Rheumatology practices - Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and business development activities Preferred Qualifications: - Strong understanding of the clinical laboratory industry - Experience selling diagnostic, laboratory, or healthcare services into specialty practices - Demonstrated success building new territories or expanding into greenfield markets Specialty Knowledge Expectations: - Familiarity with diagnostic testing and workflows relevant to: - Gastroenterology (GI): GI pathogen testing, H. pylori, inflammatory markers, colorectal screening support - Urology: UTI testing, prostate health (e.g., PSA-related diagnostics), urologic pathology workflows - Dermatology: Dermatopathology, infectious skin conditions, allergy-related testing - Rheumatology: Autoimmune panels (e.g., ANA, RF, anti-CCP), inflammatory markers (ESR, CRP) - Understanding of reimbursement dynamics, utilization trends, and clinical value of in-office diagnostic services Compensation & Benefits: - Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000 + uncapped commission plan - Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance - 15 days Paid Time Off (vacation and sick time) - 10 Paid Holidays - 401(k) with up to 4% Company match - Company-paid life insurance, AD&D, short- and long-term disability - Paid Volunteer Time Off - Partially Paid Medical Leave / Paid Parental Leave About us: At Lighthouse Lab Services, we offer solutions to help start, grow, and run clinical laboratories. The Business Director AMEA will join a global, multi-site business unit that designs and manufactures uninterruptible power systems for critical industrial applications.
