Red Cell Partners
• Lead Engineering Execution: Own sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and cross-functional coordination. Drive delivery across multiple product areas, including AI agents, workflow automation, integrations, and UI/backend systems. • Build & Maintain Engineering Metrics: Design and maintain dashboards and reporting systems covering capacity, velocity, lead time, deployment quality, resource utilization, and other performance KPIs. Identify trends and surface risks early through data-driven insights. • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide architectural guidance for full-stack and AI/ML components. Shape design decisions, enforce high code quality, and ensure scalable and compliant infrastructure. • Process Optimization & Operational Excellence: Identify bottlenecks and friction points across teams. Implement process improvements and reinforce engineering best practices to improve speed, stability, and collaboration. • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Security, and Compliance to meet business requirements and regulatory needs (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA). Ensure all deliverables meet enterprise-grade standards. • Support Team Growth & Scalability: Help onboard and grow engineering talent, especially junior and mid-level engineers. Maintain high standards of execution as the organization scales. • Self‑Starter Mindset: Take ownership of undefined or evolving problems, propose and implement solutions independently, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering leadership or management experience within full-stack or AI/ML-focused environments.
- Hands-on background building and shipping enterprise-grade software, preferably with experience deploying models or agents, integrating ML services, and working across backend, frontend, and data pipelines.
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum with a proven track record of leading teams to successful delivery.
- Deep familiarity with observability, capacity planning, service level management, performance monitoring, and end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.
- Experience operating in environments with strict security and compliance requirements.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to partner with product, design, compliance, and security teams.
- Ability to dive deep technically–software architecture, backend/frontend integration, AI/ML system design, scalable infrastructure, observability, and deployment pipelines.
- Self-motivated, bias for action, comfortable with ambiguity, able to take proactive initiative and ownership of end-to-end outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating startup-like environments: ambiguity, rapid change, evolving priorities, fast-paced deliverables.
- Data/metrics-driven: you believe in using dashboards, KPIs, and data-backed insights to inform decisions, track progress, and surface issues early.
- Demonstrated success working in teams that ship fast and iterate quickly while maintaining quality, stability, and security.
