Operations Systems Programmer II

• Enhance and support the Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Power Management System (EPMS), and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) applications • Develop and modify programming logic for BMS, EPMS, and DCIM systems • Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to ensure seamless system integration • Implement system upgrades and enhancements • Develop custom scripts and interfaces to improve system efficiency • Lead support for SEV 2-4 incidents • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for troubleshooting • Analyze system logs and alarms to diagnose complex issues • Optimize controls performance and reduce nuisance alarms through tuning • Review and update system documentation regularly • Provide detailed reports on system status and issue resolutions
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming and systems integration within a data center environment
- Familiarity with key network communication protocols such as IP-based BACnet and Modbus, as well as RS485
- Extensive experience with specific platforms such as Delta, Automated Logic, Schneider Electric, including Foreseer and NEO
- Experience with PLCs is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure and operations is essential.
- 10% Travel required for system deployment and integration
