PRIMARY DETAIL Are you a creative Macquarie University student with a passion for social media? We're looking for Student Content Creators (SCCs) to join our social media team. These casual roles offer an exciting opportunity to shape student communications and showcase your content creation skills. About the Role As a Student Content Creator, you'll be instrumental in developing engaging content for our various social media channels, including TikTok and Instagram. This is a casual position (HEW 2, Step 1) with work commissioned on a project basis until the end of the year. You'll have the flexibility to submit content remotely via email/file share, so you'll need your own computer and internet access. We're looking for students who are: - Currently enrolled in at least one unit at Macquarie University, ideally in your second year onwards. - Proficient in video recording and editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe, etc.). - Comfortable and confident on camera, with personality that shines through. - Frequent and active user of Instagram and TikTok. - Skilled in creating engaging social first content from ideation to filming and editing. What You'll Do In this role, you'll get to: - Develop and create a diverse range of social media content. - Collaborate with our social media team to brainstorm and ideate creative executions. - Pitch innovative content ideas that resonate with the student audience. - Have opportunities to cover university events and activities. While the time commitment may vary pending project availability, this is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience in social media content creation and contribute to enhancing student communications at Macquarie University.
