Softeq
Role Description We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to its continued growth. Location and type of contract: - Warsaw (Poland) - fully remote work (B2B contract) Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements; - Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders; - Translate high-level goals into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria; - Maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog in collaboration with product managers; - Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams; - Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities; - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; - Support QA teams with test case validation and UAT coordination; - Help define and track key metrics and KPIs for product success. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst in a software development environment; - Proven ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements; - Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban); - Experience working closely with developers, designers, and product managers; - Proven experience in a product owner capacity; - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities; - Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Notion, etc.; - Familiarity with API documentation, data flows, UML diagrams, and BPMN; - Very good English language written and verbal communication skills (min. B2 level). Requirements - Experience in domains such as FinTech, SaaS, AI/ML, or IoT; - Technical background or understanding of software architecture is a plus; - Experience with SQL or data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); - Product ownership or pre-sales support experience. • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the custodial reconciliation automation process. • Formulate and propose automation enhancements required to adapt quickly to changing business processes and requirements. • Manage the Paper and Cash Variance consolidated workbooks for all custodial reconciliations, ensuring appropriate update and accuracy of the data, and maintaining file integrity to fulfill audit trail requirements of cash management. • Conduct quality control reviews of T&I reconciliations completed by FNFI to ensure compliance with reconciliation guidelines and to maintain acceptable quality tolerance levels. • Ensure both procedures and process maps are reviewed, updated, and submitted to Compliance timely.
