Senior Communications Analyst

Senior Communications Analyst (VA EHRM) Remote | Full-Time Overview Emerging Tech is seeking a Senior Communications Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This role is focused on site-level communications, end-user engagement, and supporting VISN-specific implementation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in complex federal IT environments and will play a key role in ensuring effective communication, coordination, and visibility across stakeholders during system implementation. Key Responsibilities • Provide support for VISN-specific site communications implementation activities, including site activity tracking, deliverable and work product reviews, escalation of risks and issues, and action item tracking • Write, edit, and maintain site communications content to support end-user engagement and program awareness • Support communications knowledge management, ensuring materials are organized, accessible, and up to date • Assist the VA in providing oversight of Cerner site-level activities and implementation progress • Track project performance across cost, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with program objectives • Identify risks and issues, escalating as needed and supporting mitigation strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support communication efforts and ensure alignment across teams Minimum Qualifications • 10+ years of professional work experience • Experience managing Information Technology related projects • Strong knowledge of lifecycle and project management methodologies • Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance metrics • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related technical discipline (or 8 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree) Preferred Qualifications • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Salary Range $100,000 – $125,000 Why Join Emerging Tech?
