Role Description The Appeals Specialist reviews adverse determination outcomes for Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability claims. They ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and make fair, thorough, and timely appeal determinations. Role Description The Disability Case Manager is responsible for administering and case managing assigned Group Short Term Disability claims. They will follow the plan provisions, state and federal guidelines, and established protocols. They work jointly with other team members within STD, LTD, and Risk Management resources.
