• Proposes, plans, and implements complex projects for IT systems operations • Serves as a senior technical leader in multiple areas • Leads the maintenance and administration of server infrastructure components • Provides primary expert-level support for major technology systems • Acts as a primary point of contact for business analysts • Research and test new systems and server technologies

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.S. degree in Computer Science or other technical degree
  • A minimum of 12 years of full-time work experience in complex IT environments
  • Systems related certification (MCSE, VCAP, RHCE or similar)
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft, VMware, and/or Linux operating systems
  • Strong understanding of operational database administration
  • Strong networking skills
  • Experience managing enterprise-class ISA server hardware
  • Strong understanding of iSCSI and Fibre Channel SAN technology
  • Familiarity with encryption technologies and implementations
  • Scripting or programming (e.g.: Powershell, Bash, CMD, VBScript, Python, etc.)

Role Description As Vendor Contract Administrator, you will ensure continuity in the BuyBoard on behalf of The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative and National Purchasing Cooperative (BuyBoard®). The Administrator will follow established processes and procedures with vendors to ensure that pricing and catalog files are always up to date and assists members and vendors with BuyBoard and Cooperative questions.
