Accountabilities - Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. - Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. - Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. - Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. - Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Barclays Services Corp. seeks Development Lead in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available): - Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, including system design, development, testing, and project go-live on various GenAI projects. - Manage and oversee the deployment of highly scalable Java Spring Boot and Python-based applications in a Red Hat OpenShift/AWS containerized environment to automate data extraction, transformation, and delivery processes of several GenAI use cases. - Spearhead cross-functional team collaboration, facilitating seamless integration of internal and external data sources into database environments while ensuring adherence to stringent compliance and scalability requirements. - Plan, lead, and conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders, ensuring thorough validation of business requirements. - Remediate technical debt, manage public cloud migrations using AWS or Azure services. - Train offshore and onshore developers, conducting daily scrum meetings, and managing project release cycles to ensure successful production launches. - May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role] Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $131,997 per year Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $145,000 per year The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
